When you arrive at the circuit, keep straight on until you get to the paddock. Take the first right in the paddock (just after the toilets) & you'll see the bar, burger van etc., about 30 metres up on the right - there'll be lots (we hope!) of orange-clad folks milling around!

Never has a problem myself but I do tend to get there early! If you have any probs just ask the gate to call Terry Breeze (circuit manager, Magnet on here) and he will vouch for you!

See you tomorrow!

Don't forget the roadworks on the M57 near Deeside and the others on the A55 Conwy.

I had planned a nice (if not particularly short) alternative route via Penyffordd to Corwen on the A5104 and then over the A5 through Betws-y-Coed, Capel Curig & Bethesda to rejoin the A55 near LlanfairPG.

Unfortunately I've only just got home and have got a problem with my air-con that's making a hissing noise.

Depending on whether I can fix it or not this evening, I might still be over in the morning.

Leave it switched off...it's a luxury over here anyway. It won't affect your motor in the slightest.

In fact, I do have the luxury of it BUT never use it because it wrecks the MPG.

Open a window!!

It's not affecting the car, it's just the squealing & hissing sound it's constantly making - and it doesn't matter whether it's switched on or off (so is probably air-con clutch on the compressor).

It doesn't seem to affect my MPG at all, although I only get 17mpg round town anyway and 26mpg on a spirited run. Also I've got tinted windows to keep the horrible sun off my albino skin and the only thing that can then keep me cool is the aircon - otherwise you'll only find a puddle of milky liquid in the driver's seat one day

The other reason for having it on most of the time, is to keep the lubricants in the system working on the seals to prevent leakages elsewhere in the system - unfortunately the lubricant doesn't stretch to the clutch on the compressor, and it is 18 years old anyway. Got to find a 2nd hand one as BMW want £500 for one.

Marshalling Sunday @ Leinster meeting

Hi,
I tried to get my name on the list earlier this week for Marshal on Sunday
E-mailed the address & left a message for Steve Hill on his landline but got no reply.
I tried Steve's number again on Friday night - nothing.
I am just going to turn up
If we are to respond to the BMMC's request for Marshals would be good if we could get confirmation that we are on the list.
Think we need to improve the way we do adhoc volunteering.
Anyway looking forward to seeing you all down on the Holy Island again this weekend.
All the Marshals i spoke to last week told me how good this meeting is.

Russell.....welcome to Ten-Tenths!

First.....you will have no problem at all getting into the Circuit to Marshal, so don't worry about not having a ticket.

Secondly - I agree with the rest of your post and am personally going to contact Chris Hobson with my experiences regarding this meeting.

Have a great day!
