I wonder if the GR010 continues to be dominant through out the entire calendar year, will toyota bring a new car next year or just upgrade the current machine.

A pre-Le Mans BoP tweak is inevitable I think. The only question for me is can they bend the regs to give Peugeot, Ferrari and the privateers a boost somehow despite being in the same class as the GR010. |

We'll see what happens at Spa, but I would be surprised if the ACO didn't try to subtly peg the GR010s back somehow. |

Started the race in pit lane, which got him behind the lead Toyota within several laps.

Once you have used your 4 track limit warnings and served a penalty for the 5th, do you just get penalties for every subsequent overstep?

That's a spicy message from Calado to his engineer!
Glad to hear Calado pushing back on the order to let Nielsen pass, and his engineer for telling him to push or move. |

Cool!
We had a batlle for the lead and an actual lead change! Wonderful! What a race! |

Did Cadillac keep the same tyres on? A massive lock-up going into the pits, but the #2 has leapfrogged both Ferraris.

Are Toyota managing the gap? They pulled out ~20 seconds in the first twenty minutes on third place, but only another 10 over the next 40 minutes.

Rob Leupen saying the FIA told Toyota to bring the #7 in as the stewards noted a discrepancy in the data coming from the rear-left torque sensor.

For obvious reasons (coughcough MSR@DAYTONA coughcough) I can understand the FIA pulling this up now rather than post-race, and then having to amend the result. Absolutely galling for Toyota/#7 though, little chance of working back up to the podium now. |
