I don’t really know what happened. I thought he pitted 42 from the end & that you can save 2 laps of fuel for every 1 lap under yellow. Apparently not. My mistake. Sorry
Did something break on Johnsons car? The left rear was wobbling about after the impact? Not sure if that happened in the crash though. |

6 laps to go, P2P for 1st, 3rd and 5th, less for 2nd, 4th and 6th.
Think Scott's getting to the front barring other yellows Not a great day for Chevy is it |

And Newgarden shoves everyone to the right and Grosjean is done. The other 2 AA cars said hell no, let him hit the wall and we'll get him later. Herta and Rossi live to fight later
In fairness, by the rule he was ahead BUT he did open his hands a bit too And where did Scott get around Lundgaard. Hey Romain, embrace American racing and throw your helmet |

I don't think I would be upset if IndyCar decides to pass on another Nashville race. This has been incredibly messy

Stop with wife cafe.
Now we have family interview. Although they are top people. I suppose at least there isn’t actually any racing going on. I’d still rather watch the cars be cleared on the cars being readied. |

How many years is Nashville's contract for?

Odds on green for 2 laps? I'm thinking under 50/50
And that's why I don't gamble well. Scott holds off Scott to win after being hit hard from behind. Think 11 cars finished the race so that's good right? Last edited by broadrun96; 7 Aug 2022 at 23:35. |

Interesting race, not sure I would call it quality but interesting. I think the city liking it and rumors of Indy management as well I don't think we'll see it off the calendar and possibly extended.
Would like to see a TransAm race around the circuit, think it's just TA2 running here. Although if you haven't seen a TA2 race in person, go find one. |

Race Result:
That was Scott Dixon's 53rd win, which now puts him second on the all time winner's table, ahead of Mario Andretti and behind A.J. Foyt, who has 67. The driver's table has changed significantly after Scott Dixon's win. Will Power, who finished 11th with a damaged gearbox, after Graham Rahal pushed Pato O’Ward’s car into the rear of his car, still leads with 450 points but only 6 points ahead of Scott Dixon, on 444 points, who in turn is 6 points ahead of Marcus Ericsson, who is now on 438 points, having finished 14th with a mechanical issue. Josef Newgarden is 4th on 428 and reigning driver's champion Alex Palou is 5th with 417 points. There are now three races left. 15 cars finished after 26 starters. There were 8 FCYs, with 39 laps under caution and 1 red flag, compared to last year's race which had 9 FCYs, with 33 laps under caution and 2 red flags. |

Winning car had more pit stops, 6, than the rest of the podium combined, 4. Somehow Helio had 8 stops and only 1 lap down

But only just…
50% of the race behind the SC is hardly a great spectacle. Being in the UK I caught up with the Sky F1 broadcast this morning. Fortunately I could FF the SC periods it would have been barely watchable otherwise. |
