I wonder what they think causes this drop off (if, as you say, it is real). Is it something that stays the same for every session, or something that depends on the other runners/weather/etc... |

If there is a change in the session, it strikes me as not being very fair. Perhaps they should have a new format that allows all the drivers to go out at the optimum time?
Actually does anyone remember if (in the old days) drivers used to find it hard to improve on their latter runs when qualifying at Hungary. |

Not at all. I think the track was slow (dirty) at the beginning, but then it was fine.
The jag has always been quick in low fuel, and the BAR's are just slow. I dont think there was any drop off at the end. |

Probably not. JPM and MS messed up and Rubens was slow, would be my guess! Although I haven't actually seen it

Hungary, 2nd Qualifying Session
So, it should start in about 5 minutes or so.
Maybe it's time to start this one up. |

A 1.26.678 lap for Baumgartner, he'll be relieved to get that one out of the way.

As expected really, pretty good effort from Baumgarther though, I wonder how much quicker Firmen would have been?
