The #67 car is a VE... in the original V8Supercar entry list it was a TBA... and since the media guides have the pics of the #67 car as a VZ, they added 1+2 to equal 73

They must be getting on top of the new car teething troubles... Mr Morris ripped off a 1.22.9358 in the warmup, quicker than the car has been all weekend by a second or so... to be 9th quickest!

In the flesh they look really good. It was sad that team mate Fabian's race was wrecked by a large time penalty. He did well and held his own yesterday and today.

It was indeed a racing incident, and it wouldn't have taken much for Brad to score a "Turtle Award" like Paul got actually.
While it is interesting to see the gouge left in the armco and the aftermath of the roll, it is testament to the strength of these cars that Paul got out and walked away. We don't really want Porter or Radisich-type crashes in our great sport. |

The PMM chassis are obviously very strong... two pretty solid hits in the last little while, and the loss of "Colin" at this circuit a few years ago shows the driver is well protected in them.
The press release from the team calls it a $100k accident + engine and transmission... an expensive turtle... |
