Good question.
I read that it is limited by FIA regulations.
However, surely, it can be read as saying that the Z35 is not worth the GT3 in terms of Nissan's brand value.

I think they will continue GT silhouette model but with more affordable approach if Bandoh still want chase world championship idea. But, actually joining LMDh bandwagon will be "fast" road to that since look alike it will be the "new" group c if we look the trend.

Problem now is, if Toyota want to commit do some LMDh stuff? well CORE just mention Nissan on current LMDh news. We can easily put Mazda and Acura on map too if GTA want join LMDh stuff. In the end better to wait and see the info and not hope too much.

Oh I see, so if I take from this GT3 and higher "must" be from GT-R brand or something "R" branding (you know R390 thing)
Z will be for bespoke local racecar (GT500/GT300) and under it as in GT4 maybe?

well whatever it's as long as Nissan still racing on SGT I'm okay.

The magazine says that The R35 might be discontinued in 2022 due to emission gas regulations.
And Nissan officially admits that the next-gen GT3 of R35 is not currently under development.
However, Z35 is not suitable for GT3 due to price restrictions.
Therefore, the transition to (JAF-) GT300 is a natural process.

So basically they just took back their own car number.

I think they will, since they pick Audi after all. Maintence same car much easier get data rather than alone isn't?

Is there news from D'Station, Upgarage, and Team Tsuchiya for GT300 2021?
Well still no news from Leon too but I suspect they continue the program. On this covid season somewhat make me uneasy

Well, Mugen (M-TEC) raced with Dunlop tyres on GT300 class for 2004-2005 seasons. Dunlop will be also have a tandem (#64 Modulo NSX) for tyre developments.

At Fuji, the straight speed is inferior, but the car balance is good.
Porsche is strong in long run pace. However, it is inferior in qualifying.
And Suzuka, which has a high-speed corner, is not good at it.
We want the no-tire-change strategy to succeed also in heavier GT3 car, if regulations are okay.

I think the RR layout will eat the rear tyres too much. I wonder how they can overcome the tyre wear issue.
