unusual we hav't had complaining about the VE as we usally do if Ford or Holden do something like this, so as you say maybe ford do have the same problem as i can't exactly see them letting this fly.

If the new Falcon is dimensionally similar to the VE and was to be homologated at the same time then I’m sure the rules would have been adjusted to suit the new vehicles width and length. Instead the VE has to match the existing BA/BF, remember it is a parity formula. I’m sure if Holden had their way they would rather their new racecar match the road car.
