Probably.
He stated most of his laps were ruined by traffic, wonder what Jelley did that would warrant him being put in the wall! |

Rule is that a substitute driver gets 45kg or the original driver's championship ballast, whichever is greater. Normal success ballast rules apply for races 2 and 3. |

Good to see Plato ahead of Sutton, that must be the first time this year? maybe even going back into mid 2017!
Where has Bushell suddenly found this pace from? I'm assuming this is a result of a new (or old) engineer stepping in with Geoff Kingston leaving as they didn't gel Will be a tough race for some of the big names, interested in what Ricky C can do when the ballast comes off in R2 These comments from Cammish seem a bit uncalled for, wonder if hes getting a dressing down for them at the moment... |

I believe this to be true. He is one of a number of young 'uns who have an excellent understanding of their cars. Cookie is another, probably would have ended up an engineer or mechanic if his racing career hadn't took off.

Re Cammish: obviously very annoyed about people not giving space.
"No matter how much of a gap you leave, people come out of the pit in front of you, don't get out of the way, so that lap's ruined" "There were a few instances that for me were just well beyond my control, coming into the final corner, ready to go for pole, Jelley's doing 5mph through the chicane, that's not my fault and for me that's just not fair." "I'm happy to be at the front, but if people want me to be happy about what is basically an underperformance, then, I'm not." (from the BTCC audio podcast things, not the interview with Louise) |

and something which got overlooked from this qualy result
Colin Turkington despite being 12th is actually ahead of all his closest championship rivals !! Tingram 13th, Goff 28th, Neal 29th and Sutton is just in the row ahead of him wouldn't surprise me if he leaves leading the tables again |

Missed qualifying today, down in Brighton for the day. Good result for Morgan, him and the car still going well. Cammish, also up there, can he get his first win this weekend? And what a result too from Bushell, the best of the VW drivers all season. Turkington only 12th, but none of his rivals are ahead of him. Anyone know why Goff is so far down? Bad for Neal with a lot ballast and an unproven engine

Also judging by the season so far, it seems likely Adam will make it 7 / 7 drivers to win R1 from pole! But, especially if it's going to another wet Sunday, anything can happen! |

Turks was likely praying for a dry race day, the BMW is no where in the wet.

Dan Cammish missed his braking point by about a million years there. Goddamnit, Tordoff cannot catch a break this year.

Turn 1 was pretty terrible. Ignoring Dan Cammish being a muppet, there was bits flying through the banked turn too. And even if Cammish hadn't have turned Tordoff, it looks like some others would've been round anyway. Pretty poor, and I'm guessing Cammish will get a penalty for that one.

Cammish and Jordan looked to be the worst two offenders there, but I don't think they'll be penalties.

Brett Smith needs rain at a biblical proportion for this gamble to work. He's going to have no tyres left soon.
