I will be taking the mini to mallory for its second outing. Hopefully ironed out a few small teething problems.
I was hoping to have an invite driver aboard for one of the races who is interetsed in our championship as he owns both a spaceframe mini and imp. I was hoping to temp him into our championship. However at the moment there seems to be some confusion as to him entering into the race. Will let you kno what happens. See you all there. Daughters 1st birthday, day before, so will be there late saturday if all goes to plan. see you all there mike |

Hi matey! We had a really lovely day Al. The first time we have had a good old natter. Everyone was so kind, and stopped to talk, a really brilliant day. I kept a low profile after your car expired right next to where we were watching. I do hope that it isn't too expensive mate. As they say Al...That's Motor racing.
All the best mate. Gerry. |

Very expensive actually Gerry , valve head broke off, shattered the piston and punched its way through the block wall, never mind!

i will be taking the black car out at Thruxton 18/19th August in Pre 93's, I'll only be crusin' round to make up the numbers and have a weekend away, at least she has some top end with the slippery shape of the IROC-Z so shouldn't disgrace myself too much.

Trying not to sound like a stuck record but as usual we won't be competing as our engine is still not ready - latest Jackanory is a tight piston so the block has gone away to be honed!! Only been waiting since April 2011 for this effin engine!

TBH Al its probably just a load of bull**** cuz thats all we've had from this engine builder. It's not my car or engine so I have no say in it but basically the car owner is being taken for a ride.

Has anyone seen a full timetable for this weekend at Mallory?
I'd like to know what's on and when before deciding to go and watch on the Sunday or Monday. |

Thanks David. I had seen that but wanted to make sure there was a Special saloons race on the Sunday rather than just qualifying or practice.
Are the Special saloons having one race each day or 2 each day? I'm also trying to find an entry list but that doesn't seem to be available yet either. |

I'm entered with Special Saloons, races 5&9) so will be racing both Sunday and Monday.
I've also optimistically entered the Sports v Saloons race at the end of the day, along with some other Special Saloons entrants. S. |

Sorry guys, would love to be there but there is 0% chance that the Kitten will be back in one piece by then! Not far off though - need to fettle the throttle cable, top up with fluids, do a little light electrical work and then setup/give it a spanner check

Looking forward to this. Hopefully a decent grid like last year .
Don't expect entry to be shared but timetable would be of use |

Why is the Sunday race so late, surely it's the main event and warrants an early avo slot?
Looking forward to seeing the cars again! |
