Problem now is, if Toyota want to commit do some LMDh stuff? well CORE just mention Nissan on current LMDh news. We can easily put Mazda and Acura on map too if GTA want join LMDh stuff. In the end better to wait and see the info and not hope too much. Quote:
Z will be for bespoke local racecar (GT500/GT300) and under it as in GT4 maybe? well whatever it's as long as Nissan still racing on SGT I'm okay. |

So basically they just took back their own car number. -- Wil they (Team Le Mans) also continue the maintenance for the #21 Audi (like in last season) ? |

I think they will, since they pick Audi after all. Maintence same car much easier get data rather than alone isn't? Is there news from D'Station, Upgarage, and Team Tsuchiya for GT300 2021? Well still no news from Leon too but I suspect they continue the program. On this covid season somewhat make me uneasy |

jp.motorsport.com reports Takeshi Tsuchiya's comment on 2021 strategy.
https://jp.motorsport.com/supergt/ne...ategy/5348018/ Porsche has excellent traction, especially from low speed corners. Therefore, it is good at Motegi and Okayama. At Fuji, the straight speed is inferior, but the car balance is good. Porsche is strong in long run pace. However, it is inferior in qualifying. And Suzuka, which has a high-speed corner, is not good at it. We want the no-tire-change strategy to succeed also in heavier GT3 car, if regulations are okay. |

Masataka Bandoh (#19) explains Racing Project Bandoh's GT500 budgets.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaE48ACPU3U *You can run a GT500 team for 200 million yen (sponsor money) per season. *However, GT500 team cannot be operated without the support of the manufacturer. *Team Bandoh has been leased GT500 car from Toyota now. *Team Bandoh has been leased two transporters from sponsor. *Team Bandoh's GT500 car run a total of 20,000 kilometers per year. *Team Bandoh has been provided with teamwear by sponsors. *In Toyota squad, GT500 driver contract is made by the team and the driver, but the salary is basically paid by Toyota. *The insurance premium for GT500 is 13 million yen per season, and the insurance benefits are max 60 million yen (engine damage is not covered). *GTA's incentive compensation for the team will be determined by the number of laps, positions and EBBRO's miniature car license fee. |
