I grabbed these pics from Speedarena.

2000:

SpeedArena lists this as 2001 but it's actually 2000:

2001 for sure:

Yeah, I was just showing the grille. It's clear from the last 2000 pic I showed (see the debris damage) that the grille is open; the pic from 2001 makes the grille seem flat by comparison. Mike's pages confirm that the grille is just a sticker...

Those cars were beauties... that's a real shame that Cadillac pulled the plug so early...

I wonder what the car would have been like with a different engine?

Say, a team purchased the car, and swapped the Caddy, for a Judd.
Or was the Caddy engine the problem? I know they had Transmission problems, and maybe a proven cimbo like the Judd may have changed the fate of this beautiful car.

The caddy sold for $250,000 on Barret Jackson, but it did not come with the electronics box so he can't take it to a track day for a drive

Nothing to say he couldn't drop a Judd in there... Probably improve the car anyway.

Indeed, looks like a tidy enough car. Good news for the LMP classes anyway, and hopefully good news for the ALMS. Maybe a few of these will find their way into the ALMS?

I would think...or hope..that this would be the case....

Something tells me that Wayne Taylor got an "FYI" e-mail about this...

and maybe a few others in both sportscar series...

What do YOU think???

Tim your more informed on potential US teams.

Who has the resources to step upto LMP1 in the US.

There is at least one LMP1 announcement due soon, no clue who it is however.
