Promoter of Octavia Cup have interess on development of car TCR specification. But for this is necesery agreement of factory Å*KODA AUTO. If we will have this agreement (we working on this), is possible make prototype car in season 2016 and make some test. So car of this specifications should be ready in next 12-24 months. |

Yeah, I figured it'd be something like this after digging around on their website a bit more. No Skoda-logos was a big hint that this wouldn't be a works project.
Thanks for emailing them, though! |

20 cars in the first season is very good!!!!! But so far it has just been Belgian teams and drivers. I really hope there will be a lot of Dutch teams and drivers as well. Looking forward to watching the BeNeLux series!!!

The businesscase is pretty solid, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Verschuur, Dayvtec, Bas v. Koeten and Kox Racing jump on board.

15-20 cars would be great. I still would've gone multiclass, but I think they'll have just about enough cars to make it work as a single class series as well. |

http://www.acisportitalia.it/CIT/not...-a-Monza./2016 (in Italian)
There will be a great number of representatives from many Italian teams. The article also talks about a Peugeot 308 GTI for the TCS Class. |

In a few days, Jas Motorsport will launch a young driver programme, named "Young Start", for the TCS Italian series.

Some news from the Benelux:
- Yesterday Bas Koeten confirmed two SEAT Leon, one wille be driven by Bas Schouten. - Didier Van Dalen and Amaury Richard (two talented young guns) will drive a VW Golf entered by Delahaye. - Ichiban Racing, a Flemmish team, will enter a VW Golf (which makes it 13 confirmed cars at the moment), WRT is working on securing a second Golf on the grid. What's the Benelux balance in terms of nationality at the moment? I think Bas Koeten is the first Dutch team to enter?

Yes, but the organisers told me Bas Koeten could be like a catalyst for other Dutch teams to confirm their engagement. Other Dutch teams rumoured to be working on a TCR program: Bleekemolen, Certainty and DavyTech (as far as I know).

Yeah, Team Bleekemolen has already raced with a Seat Leon TCR. But it was actually owned by Ferry Monster Autosport. Febo Racing also was present with a Seat Leon TCR. So hopefully, that's at least 3 Dutch entries extra.

I forgot about Monster, I've heard youngster Huub Delnoij would be one of their drivers.
