What's the point of even racing for the rest of the season if you miss the first round and your supposed to be "in the hunt for the championship".

FOFF Murph as far as I'm concerned. Very very VERY poor form!
Yeah you're right, he SHOULD have known 5 years ago that he would be driving for a new team and that the dates of rounds would change.

Murph has really dropped the ball on the ESP(N) front this time.

No, he doesn't have to known what is happening 5 years ago, all he has to do is have a get out clause in his contract with the TV show if it clashes with a round of the championship, like most professional drivers would have in any contract not related to your main source of income

Another member already pointed out, there hasn't been a round of the championship this early, so it wouldn't have been needed when he signed the contract.

I'm quite shocked at the amount of people getting their panties in a twist over it, so he doesn't race, big deal it is to you.....Team is happy, sponsors are happy, driver is happy, and life goes on!

i have worked out the times for UK & CET, 2.05pm GMT 3.05pm CET for both races. i just hope now someone will show this live as it on a safe time for me or if need be someone gives me a internet place to watch it!

Mr Dumbrell, Mr Winterbottom, Mr Whincup & Mr Davison are in Abu Dhabi walking and driving the circuit (and according to Frosty's twitter he may be a passenger in a 2 seat F1 car!!) while other drivers are in Hamilton Island on holiday, presumably getting alcoholically challenged
