I watch online simply to avoid the commercials and infomercials .... Interesting race, but not terribly exciting. Westbrook might get to Taylor but i don't see him getting by.
For me just watching the field going through the Corkscrew is pleasure enough. |

Shea Adam needs to get her eyes checked, telling us the #60 didn't refuel...

J. Bomarito just turned a 1:21.331 in the #07 Mazda ... same race pace as the #60 Shank and the #5 AXR cars on that lap. I guess that the Mazda PR stuff about amazing gains wasn't all lies.

Negri on the Ligier, got the best lap, but he's very unconstant. |

This has been a great race. Minimal yellows and good racing. Take out the DPs, and you've got a good series.

I think the "American TV" comment referred to nonstop commercials with occasional interruptions by 30-second bursts of racing.
Speaking of racing .... P and GTD are getting hot. |

And I assume your watching t&s close, as there's not been much of a mention of anything by Shaw and Greg in the last 30 mins other than than the overall battle, until just now. |

I have Fox on with no sound to watch the pretty pictures and IMSA.com for the race.

They don't have to worry about Corvette anymore, IMSA saw to that.

Good pit strategy by Troy Fliss and company ... keeping Westy out there so his stop would be shorter and he could keep track position ... and Mike Hedlund on the PC podium.

Outside of the 2 quick yellows in succession, that was a clean and decent race.

Great finish, glad I caught the end of that. Westy
came close to disaster with that GT bump in the corkscrew. See its possible to have a close finish with out a late caution. |

Tip of the hat to Mike Hedlunds PC team podium!
Way to bring it home. |

It wasn't a good race or a bad one, but I did appreciate the fact they only had 2 FCYs. DPs drove like crap, as they usually do, driving each other, and everyone else off the circuit. Good thing IMSA doesn't penalize for crap driving like PWC does. Waiting on the resident DP apologist to come out now that I said something.
Glad to see Park Place get the GTD win though! Last edited by BullMan; 3 May 2015 at 23:09. |

It was...mostly a mellow race.
The combine class race wasn't as bad as I thought. But won't mind if they use spit races again next year. |
