The Acura ARX-01a is really just a rebadged Creation chassis.

Assuming you swapped Creation and Courage? The Acura ARX01a is based on the Courage LC70 / 75 tub , but expect the monocoques itself and the crash structure, everything else is Acura development.

GT3 chassis numbers

OK, including the (not homologated) Ferrari Challenge and Porsche Cup cars we only have more than 1000 cars, but it is time to start collecting?

Has some of you some informations about the following 2006 FIA-GT cars:

#20 Riverside Corvette
#29 Pouhelon Viper
#76 AF Corse Maserati
#77 AF Corse Maserati
#78 AF Corse Maserati

Thanks for correcting me, I meant to say Courage chassis. My point was that I don't like calling the Acura ARX-01a chassis an Acura because they relied on others in making their chassis more than companies like Porsche do.

The BK Mazda is named B07/4X, but in fact it´s a B05/4X. This is what the chassis number plate shows. In entry lists you can name your car almost however you want, entry list are not very reliable with this.

So the LMP2 Lola HU01 - HU09 are all B05/4X. B07/4X or B06/4X is just marketing.

Interesting that Chamberlain-Synergy's B06/10 is listed as HU07. Since when were their six other B06/10s?

I also notice that unlike the B05/40s, which continue with their chassis numbers up through B06/5x and B07/4x, that the B06/10s do not. Swiss Spirit and Charouz' chassis go back to B07/1x HU01 and HU03.

Where's B07/10 HU02?

There are no six other B06/10, only three.

There is no HU2 as there are no three B07/1X. Charouz Lola is a B06/1X, Swiss Spirit is a B07/1X.

Why the skipping around of numbers then?

And Charouz should be a B07/1x just the same as Swiss Spirit.

Excellent, but I'm not sure why you have started a new thread on the DBR1/2/3 when I have put a very extensive history of all these cars up myself. I'm afraid that I am going to delete your thread but if you have any additional info over what I have written, I'd be pleased for it to be added to the existing threads.

I do not think that to be correct! Unless I have misunderstood the e-mail I have from Lola on the subject.

Thank you for your enquiry to Lola Cars.

The model designation is made up as follows; The 'B' is to indicate the car is built by Lola during the ownership of Martin Birrane, the company's Executive Chairman.

The founder and original owner of the Company was Eric Broadley who sold his interest to Mr. Birrane during 1997. During Broadley's era cars were prefixed 'T' simply referring to 'type'

The next pair of numbers indicate the year of construction. The final pair are the model number of the car signifying the class of racing built for.
A n example is;
B2K.40. A car built during year 2000 for Le Mans Prototype class 2 racing. B06.30 is a 2006 car for the Formula Three Championship. B07.90 is this years Sports 2000 car.

Kind regards, Glyn Jones.
