If mclaren was a new team yes..but mclaren has been in F1 for more than 25 years, have invested something in the region of 3.5 billion dollars into cars and factories since their last championship and did not deliber. Toyota is only at less than a third of that amount. They get more credit from me

Huh??!! If Kimi wants to run heavy let him, because surely JPM can drive around handling deficiencies to a certain extent, perhaps a little better than Kimi can.

JPM obviously has been hampered by heavy fuel loads so let him run lighter and give Kimi the more fuel which he seems to think he's more comfortable with and see what happens!

Why don't they change tactics? Like you said, stick JPM on lighter fuel, get him to P3 or P4 on the grid, and give him the chance to have a crack at victory, or even light fuel, P1, 2 pitstops, and probably a podium result. I have no idea what I am talking about by the way, but christ is it frustrating for a McLaren fan...
Hop over to the Kimi forum and they are ready to support Ferrari, bagging McLaren left right and centre. I'd support M.Schumacher in a McLaren against Kimi in a Ferrari if it came to that, heaven forbid...

I have mentionned RS as driver or possible driver of the race three times this season. I was impressed of his good performance to a point that I had difficulties remembering why I don't like him. Yesterday was a good reminder. What a silly mistake he did when he collided with Trulli. He was not even close when he tried his overtaking move

Now that Yuji Ide has gone,we have to rely on someone else for entertainment.

Ralf gets my vote for driver of the day for having the sheer audacity to overtake (well try at any rate) without having to resort to pit-to-pass tactics.

Yes, that was quite puzzling and, when asked, Ralf just chalked it up to the fact that the Toyotas can race each other.

That move can be included in the "what was he thinking category". He was lucky not to take both Toyotas out of the race.

He got plenty of practice colliding with teammates at Williams of course. He hasn't lost his touch after all it seems!
