Coke 600 is tomorrow. Can't remember the last time I was this excited about a nascar race. Stinks we won't have Monaco and Indy leading up to it, but still.
Hopefully Capt Snothead steers clear of Chase. |

Yeah, last year was ace. A great triple header, although I did fall asleep in the 600
Looking forward to it too. Motor racing and a major race to boot. |

Next year the schedule doesn't line up either. Think Monaco is a week before Memorial Day weekend.

Yeah, hopefully everybody keeps their sticky hands off Chase's car. I reckon unmolested he could visit Victory Lane at Charlotte.

I just wonder who on the current F1 would be the most likely to do both in the same year. Well if Alonso comes back to F1, maybe he could do exactly that

Logano feels safer racing in NASCAR than shopping. https://www.autosport.com/nascar/new...-than-shopping
No comment from other drivers about racing with Logano, but several have been seen without masks and juggling knives. |

I’m half an hour behind. Won’t take long to catch up.
But I enjoyed the socially distancing commentators. |

There are a lot of cars out there that aren't sorted yet. I am really getting into this no practice racing.

Hope the sticky compound gets more grip in the second 1/2. There's lots of grip but this is a pretty narrow racing groove for Charlotte.

Staying out worked for Logano. Not so much for Harvick and Chase.
100 laps to go. I'm gonna try and make it.... |

Logano has a shocking restart.
I’m going to try and get closure too. Why does does this race have to be on so late. What’s wrong in having a race in the afternoon. Grumble grumble |

Honestly, it would've been over by now without the rain delay, but it's always been cool to have them start in the day light and go into night. Used to run it all in the day and after a unseasonable cool previous few days, the last two have been a bit on the warm side; it would've been HOT this afternoon. Even, still these boys are gonna be tuckered out. |

I mean, seriously. This type of finish is why people have stopped watching. Draw straws. Here's your winner. Accept it.

Such a good green race for the most part.
Chase got back to third, but it was an odd choice. |

It was the wrong choice in hindsight and at the time! I was yelling at all of it. They ran 600 miles. The race was OVER!!

I understand the green white checker rule, it's been used a while. I guess it's not for everyone. Anyway Johnson loses second place on a technicality

GWC rule, the Chase, stages; all stupid, fake winning and dumbing down of the sport. That said, I'm kinda glad this happened. I won't a second more on the series this year |

I agree, NASCAR has gone down the pan with gimmicks such as the chase and three parts. But I can live with the green white checker

Chase got some revenge on the Busch sister in a truck. Hadn't driven a truck in 3 years and got the win over Kyle. Although Kyle was coming hard and only a lap down truck stopped his pass.

It was good and it was clean.
Given Chase hasn't driven a truck for years, most if not all the people in the team he hasn't worked with and being up against Kyle shows just how good he is. I think it's when, not if, he'll win a Cup championship. And if he runs some more Truck races in the meantime it will keep Kyle on his toes. |
