Not everything has to be stupid fast you know.

Also, the Cruze racecar doesn't look all that bad. Still, the stupid grille and headlights need to go.

Rubbish pictures of it, but it looks smart enough. Bit bigger and beefier than the Lacetti - looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Well, with Chevy going to the Cruze...any hope that SEAT will switch to the new Exeo and see the WTCC go all saloons?

That would be brilliant, add to that a two/three car works backed Honda Accord effort and I would absolutely love WTCC!

I did this for SEATCupra.net in about 5 mins, probably the length of time, SEAT design had on the production exeo...

New 'Seat' has already raced in DTM some years ago. Second hand WTCC. I'd love it too.

Yeah, some of the early promo sketches of the Exeo looked promising - but the more I see it, the more annoyed with them I am.

We wanted a nice new swirly saloon and we got a boxey Audi handmedown.

Nice mock-up though

This will probably hunt me afterwards, but..

The Exeo looks like an old woman, with a lot of makeup. It doesnt make her younger..

Hopefully they will develop the Leon further, or else it will hit a lot of customerteams all over Europe..

So given the new Chevrolet WTCC car, the Lacettis for sale will never be developed past Macau 2008 specs?

Racing in DK is the last two years Lacettis, sold to the team after Macau. But this time the team will race with last years spec, or am I mistaken?

www.sportmotores.es reports, quoting Las Provincias, that Adrián Campos is talking to buy a current WTCC team. Yesterday Campos announced he is leaving GP2 team.

I'm going with N.Technology, because they want to back out because of the lack of factory support from Honda.

thats a shame, touring car racing is not very expensive and still Honda doesnt want to gine JAS and N-Technology some support, whereas in 125 and 250 they are spending millions of dollars on small privateers teams !!!

Yes, that remains to be one h**l of a mystery... A world championship title in touring cars is way more realistic (and cheaper!) as well as official support in BTCC and other national series to further promote Honda as a manufacturer.

But I don't know, is it better to be winners in "lower class" championships than being left way behind in the highest championship of them all? It's all about being seen, but to what costs?

Well, personally I'd say that driving at the back of the grid of F1, fighting against Force India, while having such a big budget, is giving them a bad image and making them look like fools.

If being succesfull in Touring Cars won't benefit there image, it sure as hell won't harm it like it's harmed now.
