Interesting lineup, I hope they still bring 3 cars

In other news-

Benjamin Goethe and Stuart Hall are expected in a WRT car for the season, having run together at GPX in 2019

New Mclaren squad 2 Seas Motorsport are looking to join the GTWC this year alongside their 2 car British GT entry. They would join Optimum (2x), Jenson Team Rocket (1x), and 59 Racing (1-2x)

Bentley supposedly have another team to announce in the GTWC also for this season

Unfortunately not in Brit GT, they have capped entries at 35 this year, down from 38 last year

GTWC will likely be a bigger grid than last year it looks like, but certainly not the biggest they’ve ever had

As you're talking about potentials, I can imagine having a third WRT Audi, a presence from Garage 59, a third R-Motorsport Aston Martin, some AF Corse Ferrari and at least one Bentley from Lazarus.

Theres a good chance we will see more than three WRT's in sprint at least.

Garage 59 are focusing on IGTC so it remains to be seen what they do in GTWC

No doubt some AF Corse cars!

Jenson Team Rocket RJN - Mclaren 720s GT3 - Crhis Buncombe / James Baldwin / TBA

Rather true to RJN form, they have the winner of last years WORLDS FASTEST GAMER in the car, alongside team co-owner Chris Buncombe.

Final driver TBC but will be the PRO in this PRO-AM lineup, so expect to see one of Mclarens drivers on board. Im sure the factory is keen to nuture this new team with Jenson linked to it

Im genuinely interested to see how James Baldwin gets on. Other than the sim racing experience and the karting as a kid i dont think hes had more than 2 formula ford races in his life. Im interested to see how being a sim racer can translate to a GT3 level with very little experience in cars. Good luck to him.

First AF Corse run Ferrari confirmed ahead of the entry list announcement at the end of this week

AF Corse - Ferrari 488 GT3 - Andrea Bertolini / Mouis Machiels / Niek Hommerson

Looking at around 50-55 cars now I think in Endurance

Still nothing from ROWE, HTP Windward, zero BMW's, we are certainly due some more Ferrari's, and theres potentially 1-2 more Mclarens from new team 2 Seas Motorsport.

No solid confirmation on number of cars and drivers from WRT, Attempto, or Santiloc yet

I think the sprint grid is fairly settled at 22-25, which is probably about right for sprint.

The opening round at Monza, unsurprisingly, has been cancelled.

Imola will now be the final sprint round (30 October-1 November) with Barcelona (9-11 October) swapping to Endurance.

As you say, not surprising.

So Silverstone becomes the first Endurance round then, cool!

Is Barca now the last round instead of (but not replacing) Nurby?

Barca Endurance

Nurburgring Endurance

and Imola added as Sprint.

Shame to lose Monza (if not very sensibly this year) but it will be fun to see the GTWC grid at Imola. Always liked the circuit.
