On the bright side, we’ve had been excellent battles between Sutton and Cook, and Sutton and Hill (here last year) before so hopefully it’s a good set-up for race day. Of course, I can see Cook and Hill squabbling at letting Sutton escape!
The Honda looks to be dialled in now. |

Yet another pole for NAPA Racing, but what a session that was. Wet to dry qualis always keep you interested till the end

Decided to pop along to the circuit today. It’s flipping between defo going to rain and maybe going to rain. Standard issue Knockhill.

Turned from an exciting battle for a win to a rain thriller to a demolition derby. Shame.
Luck's definitely not on Sutton's side, with his performance he should be cruising for the championship whereas he'll face an uphill battle to even get the title at all. |

Such a shame about the rain ruining this one. The first 5 or 6 laps were mega - it was shaping up very nicely.
Granted, it was great to see them being 'allowed' to race once the weather did change. |

Chaotic race - lines up a great race 2 however potentially watching the Fords and Turkington coming through the field.
Sutton is lucky his car is still in one piece considering how many times he went off. Don't know what has happened about track limits and whether that rule was left south of the border - Cook and Butcher in particular were totally off track at the chicane onmultiple laps. EDIT - Ingram DQ now?? |

Hmm not sure that restart was too safe with two cars left a couple metres from the track…

Where is the second car? I’m at the chicane and there’s one on the inside. The there’s a perma yellow there and nobody obeyed it at all. Sutton got passed and then made a pass into it.

That roller isn't going under Ingram's car - wonder if we are going to have several cars failing the ride height now as Tim just said about the tyre change affecting the ride heights - could be quite a few as no doubt several teams will have been close based on the dry tyres.
