I think you're right, Sebring '06 was the last time for the Saleen in the US. ACEMCO ran Le Mans in '06, but they didn't run any of the ALMS season.

Interesting to note that the owner of the ACEMCO car has chosen to run the car in the 2004 Pirelli livery, but with 2005 style silver mirrors (as opposed to 2004's yellow).

Likewise. Looks like the '04 mirrors were actually larger and mounted differently, too. '05 look was much better.

Was the Saleen actually running with it's original yellow headlights, or were they the white ones like GT1s had in FIA GT? I've seen several twilight shots and vids here and they look white to me... I think! Of course, being quite color blind doesn't help

Edit - oh bummer just learned this event won't be back until 2017 just like LM Classic it becomes biannual, but it's sadder with this one as the range of machinery is much more interesting

There'll still be a regular HSR event at Daytona the same weekend next year (much like prior to 2014 and the other regular HSR events at various tracks), just not the 24H format. And again in conjunction with Trans-Am.

I'm sure many of the 24H entrants will be back.
