Really disappointed in this entry list. Not for the cars on it, but because we still have 4 months till the race and this got me too excited!

I feel its a bit hypocritical to say you can only have 2 cars from each brand racing in WEC but then at Le Mans you have 5 296 GT3s, 3 Mclarens, 3 Mustangs. Would it have killed them to allow Audi or Mercedes?
Rest of the entry list is great though. |

It would not. But the WEC-manufacturers would've (hypothetically) killed them if an Audi or Mercedes won Le Mans.

You'd think that with F1's cost-cap, Mercedes would pull a Ferrari and also want to do a WEC/LeMans program as well. Surely they can't still be afraid of their past history or whatever? I feel like with the engineering talent they have they could easily build a LeMans-winning car easily, just as Ferrari did.

That's quite the list, really looking forward to mid-June!
Anyone decided who they'd like to win (if anyone else does that)? Out of all of them, I'd like to see the #3 Cadillac take the win. A first win for Caddy would be great, plus I'm a big fan of Bourdais and Dixon - how great would it be for the Frenchman to finally take overall victory? |

Agreed. Would trade two Ferraris for Rexy tbh. Would also have preferred Kessel got the nod instead of any of those other Ferrari crews entered. |

Thankfully now I live in Norway, so shouldn't be an issue here (plus I have a VPN on both my phone and laptop, so that helps too)

It just occurred to me (being a little slow on the uptake recently) that with Jaminet confirmed in the extra Porsche, one of Tandy, Nasr, and Cameron will miss out.
Who do we think misses out? With Cameron's inconsistencies last year, you could say he'd miss out, but he and Nasr have just won Daytona - would an American team not take their successful American driver? Tandy's a Le Mans winner, so he knows how to win it, whereas Nasr seems to have been the most impressive of Porsche's IMSA drivers. Interesting 'problem' to have. When's the deadline for naming the crew? |

I think the full driver lineup has to be given to the ACO before 9th or 10th May.
After this time drivers can only be changed with a valid reason (and a fee) up until the start of administrative checks, after which they cannot be changed unless by Force Majeure and on agreement from the organiser. |

With six, or possibly seven, 963s on the grid this year, Porsche could be hard to beat

With a grid like this we might see a old school tortoise and hare game. Where 3 or more cars is a clear advantage to split the strategy.
I think that's why Toyota is considering a 3rd car too. https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/...ntry-for-2025/ |

Keating, Albuquerque and Hanley in the #23 United entry. Formidable Pro/Am line up.
