If it is combined, you have to wonder...

I mean SBR ran the cars under two different entry names in the past, Pirtek Racing (#4) and Caltex Havoline Racing (Race Team) (#9).

If a combined paint scheme is to take place what will the entry names be? Simply Stone Brothers Racing or something like Pirtek Havoline Racing?

Caltex Pirtek Racing sounds good to me... the geniuses on the home of moronsport call it an SBR car most times anyway...

Sydney was 35C all day, and dropping to 30C all night... I didnt have a luxury accomodation arranged

so rather than boil to death, had a quiet one in front of the teev watching fireworks, and keeping an eye on 10/10ths....

I was on triple time so that more than makes up for it... hang on... 3 x $0.00 = $0.00... my usual rate

You say "it should be" as in you think SBR should combined them... or "it should be" as in you have information saying is "should" be a combined livery??? If that makes sense???

That is good to hear!!! Call me old Fashion, but I really do think a 2 car team should have the same livery on both cars.... (I'm still praying that FPR will have the same livery for 2004... But I don't think I know poeple that high "up stairs" for that one to come off!!!)

Its not likely for FPR unfortunately, which is silly when you think about it because Ford Credit will always get a worse pairing in their car than the CAT unit of Lowndes/Seton....

Interesting to read CAT extended to 2005 today as well... considering where else they could have put that money and got a much better return....

So does that mean will have to put up with different livery FPR cars in 2005 as well??? But I guess, as you're said before Seto will not be at FPR in 2005, so I won't care about FPR in 2005... HRT here comes Seto & Joe5619 in 2005... I can hear David HRT moy from here...

I understand PWR had had discussions with Caterpillar, obviously unsuccessfully....

Glenn will have a new home in 2005, and it will be better than the 2004 version. Who knows, FPR might fluke a demon setup somewhere and he could get a win

All we know is that GS contract is up at the end of this year. I'll go on record now and state that he will NOT be at HRT in any capacity next year

FPR will be running 2 different liveries this year

We know a little more than that, that Seton was offered a similar deal to the total take out from prodrive by the HRT boys to legitimise the then unfranchised KRT boys... that Skaife and Seton have worked together before, and remain firm friends and colleagues... and that its not likely another Ford team will pick up Seton for 2005 and beyond.

Too good for retirement in my view

Glenn and his father Bo have been involved with Ford since the 60's. I am happy to back that Glenn will be in a Ford until he retires to a different category. Ford (or Ford teams) will keep him in the fold.
