Problem is BeNeLux part of the series.

In contrast to Belgium no interest from importers.
Only one event at Zandvoort, same as TCR Germany so teams/drivers prefer TCR Germany.
And just still to expensive for many drivers.

Clio Cup only three drivers.... There was a time with pre-qualifying...

Ha, I guess that explains - to a degree - why the series is still struggling for entries, especially from Dutch teams, who can get as many home races by doing the German series, which also has live TV and streaming.

Last year most events had 5 minutes highlights of each race.
Lack of tv and online coverage is one of the problems of the series.

It's hard to get really interested when there's no coverage.

TCR Iberia kicks off this weekend. 12 car grid which is better than the Portugal series last year but barely any drivers from Spain.

CER has the same number of TCR cars though, so not many Spaniards fancied shorter sprint races. If they could actually combine it would be a 25 strong entry list.

Last sunday on Dutch tv there was a 30 minute programme with highlights of TCR Int in Georgia and TCR Benelux. I don't think TCR Benelux had any tv coverage in Netherlands last season so this is an improvement. However on Youtube still short clips instead of full race coverage.
