Apparently so, I would imagine that to go bankrupt, there must be some kind of administrator. Lot's of chat on various model car forums to this end.
Apparently Biante are going ahead with the Moss/Brabham L/34 using the Autoart mold at a reduced price. |

So where will Biante and AutoArt source moulds from for new releases now?

To my knowledge Autoart werent involved with the Chinese factory that went broke. Biante have announced new models this week using existing Autoart molds, 1978 Brock A9X ATCC winner & a XY Moffat Falcon, pretty safe territory. Price reduction too.

Going a bit off topic in terms of the actual item, albeit very much on topic in terms of what it is based on, I recently purchased a rather nice modified replica of the 1980 Spa winning Martin bros car in 1:18 scale.
I spent most of an xmas cash pressie on it as I doubt these things come up all that often! The modeller used a Norev road diecast car as a the basis and apparently was one of 5 made? There was a similar car on ebay about a year ago - the 1978 Spice winner. I can only hope that it will appreciate in value even though it will have a limited specialist appeal. I've written to the seller asking who did it and whether they would fancy further replica projects. I'll copy this into the armchair thread as well. |

Received my Biante 1:18 ETCC Gricey VK yesterday.
Patience is a virtue.... I waited for one to come up in an auction and set my limit at 80 quid, and that's roughly what I paid plus postage which was reasonable. Strangely, it came to the door and I didn't get hit with a massive import duty from customs and excise as I have done in the past when bringing stuff over from Australia?! I'll stick some pics up of some of mine one day when I sort my scanner out! |

Million dollar question!
Still haven't plugged new printer/scanner in. Before I do that, however, I would probably best be advised to plug it into a new PC as the current one is bog slow now and lumping any more programmes/software on to it won't help. |

Some of these will be very familiar to those of you in Australia and New Zealand! |

Yes it's a special I bought from Germany. The same vendor has done plenty of modified tourers in 18's and 43's but they are very expensive!!
Bastos 43 scale modified Vitesse was on for about 70 quid!! |

My Mobil BMW comes next week, looking forward to that. Biante are doing the VN Grp A next year, first one is a Mobil Brock car & no doubt an HRT version, hope they do q privateer version, like a Lansvale or a Pro Duct.

Those Sunstar BSCC RS1600is are due out this month but I haven't seen any more news on the actual release date.
Anyone got any news on that? |

Well the Big Jim JPS M3 is out. Limited edition 1150 pieces. Mine's on its merry trip from Australia to the UK, can't wait to see it! The purchase price was very good but as always it's the postage that is the stinger, (and if i'm unlucky the import duty!)
I also took the libo of getting a re released Jim Clark Lotus Cortina from Germany. Substantially better price than in the UK.... |
