Ah creiky, the only chance of a car winning other than Corvette or Ford is the 62 Ferrari and that is a big ask to make up 16 seconds on both the #3 and #66.

Decent race production all day then they cut to a slow GTD car with the Ford having a run on the Vette for the lead? REALLY

Yeah, it's about what we've come to expect from FS1 production but they'd been doing a great job today.
Turner going slow again with a cut tire. And they go to a Continental ad with a car with a failed tire, doh! |

CotA is a "Top-rated FIA facilty in every sense of the word ... " Dude, that is the complaint, it is not a compliment .... And he is saying all that while watching racing at VIR. Hit the convenience store on the way home and buy a cheap clue, dude.

I think spirit of the race pick is Madison Snow. But Hindy's pick of V.I.R as a whole is a good suggestion too

Someone tell Riberas a GTD Porsche can't do that.
Wow, that last helicopter shot was just gorgeous ... I vote for the track to get the Spirit of the Race award too. |

My SotR vote goes to the grass - never has so much been given, by so many, for so few.
Gavin off, FCY. That's all folks. |

All those laps without a caution and now it is a Corvette into the wall ... who thinks he did it on purpose to seal the deal for the sister car?

Ouch, 4 goes off for the first yellow and a BIG hit into the wall. Parts hanging off the rear and sides.
Great wave around to get those GTDs and especially Turner out of the way for one maybe two laps to checkers. |

I love watching IMSA. At least half the grid isn't capable of working put fuel strategies and either run out at some point or need a splash at the end, ruining the race. Its been the way since the ALMS days and they still do it. It'll always be amusing. |

Did Bamber ever drive in NASCAR? Feels like he LOVES contact in that 911.
And Garcia went full rich, bring it on Mueller and wow did he run. |

Porsche should get penalized. He wasn't even up to the back tire.

So the race director knows that the GTD class still exists, right? To forget about them in the last 10 minutes seems a bit lame.
Need to see a replay, but it looked like Bamber was at fault. |

Wow, optimistic at best there Bamber. Was a LONG way back to try that move.
Have to agree with that exclusion as a penalty, was a low percentage move at best. |

Did Fisichella just push Bamber off the track?
