http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...?page=380&np=1 Looks like they've been hard at work over the winter. There's some great little details on the car not just the rear end. Has it had a wind tunnel session or something? Will the Mansells be getting this aero package? |

T&S being rubbish right now: last I checked, the R15 was leading the Oreca Pug by .7 of a second with a 1:44.

Glad to hear it isn't just my internet connection. Both RIS and the official site seem to be hit and miss at the moment. Have to say that sorting out T&S ought to be a bear minimum for the promoters given the lack of TV coverage...

Well, it's the ACO...when was the last time they cared about the fans, as so many have argued and asked in recent years about their promo and PR people?

Something is very definitely broken in France... LMS site is borked, on Wiki the entry list doesn't show the French flags...
EDIT: Ah, the French side of things is working. Last edited by Victor_RO; 9 Apr 2010 at 11:41. |

Four hours of live coverage on Eurosport, is about six times more valuable to a sponsor than eight hours of live coverage on Motors. RadioLeMans has been complaining all morning that they can't get internet access at the track. |

Maybe we should blame Bernie Eccostone--he owns Paul Ricard, after all...

In the meantime it would appear that (depending on how much you read into FP1) things are close at the front. 1-4 seperated by .7s, with the Rebellion #12 car living up to expectations. Strakka's HPD looks pretty rapid in P2. |

Tom Kristensen is not listed on the Audi car. So it seems he is not fit yet... The GT1 Saleen is marginally quicker than the GT2 Ferrari What is up with the BMW? Slowest GT2 car of the field! Last edited by gwyllion; 9 Apr 2010 at 12:05. |

Hopefully things will stay that close and a decent race may break out, though the diesel "rookies" in the Oreca Pug might be a weak spot.
Also, it seems that Kristensen may not drive at Paul Ricard due to his injury, which Audi alluded to in their press release, but Allan and Dindo have done the PLM 10 hour/1000 miles by themselves successfully in the past, so that shouldn't be a problem. And with the way the R15s ran at Monza, they very well might be a pain for the factory Pugs with their cornering and braking abilities. |

Seems like Audi is running a '09 Sebring spec "sprint" race front fender louver package, and has some new valences/flow conditioners mounted above the front diffuser below the new front bodywork valences in the E-I photos.

Oreca is running the low drag nose on their Peugeot: http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...bres1_A_25.jpg
According to http://www.lemans-series.com/fr/s52_...&id_circuit=19 the ideal lap (using best sector times) for Audi was 1:43.632 and for Peugeot 1:44.089. This gives an idea of the potential pace of both cars. Of course times will go down during the weekend. |

fighting in GT2 is tough as usual, wont be surprise if the CRS car on pole tomorrow because every ferrari is 2010 spec while all the porsches are 2009 spec,it seems that only#77 gets full 2010 updates,#75 and #88 get some of updates.#76 has no updates in my eye.
we could seperate 2010 update RSR,2009 RSR by looking at filler well, the 2010 one is shorter, also there are slightly difference at front lips. Last edited by 911targa; 9 Apr 2010 at 13:38. |

'Tis official... Kristensen will not drive this weekend. Torn tendon in his left heel (playing badminton). Drove at Monza, but experienced pain (while still able to achieve times). Focus is (obviously) on Le Mans.
Paul Ricard will be just Allan and Dindo. |

By the way, mr. Truswell, are you commentating this weekend or are JH and Graham Goodwin doing the whole weekend by themselves in the booth? |
