Another 80's IMSA horror- Genesis Racing's Chevron GTP at Daytona in 82. Looks like it was originally a B19- quite a pretty car until someone sticks a totally random roof and wing to it...

I think this Argentinian marvel also can score high among the previous horrors. Egghead's mobile....

daytona prototypes are naaaasty. Anything that can be made in Lego without any curved bricks just ain't pretty. Well, at least in sportscar terms |

The Audi R10 gets my vote! Grotesque noise (as in it doesn't make a noise!), plus it's roll-hoops, which are more like hideous spikes, genuinely make me feel sick. Them and the DP's. Horrible things.
Would the Lavaggi LMP go here too, or is that just 'unique'...? |

From the first factory ones to the K3 Kremer ones, to Akin's with the Lola 600 nose (ok, I might agree on that one), they were all fantastic. Nothing holds a candle to the Joest body style however. It wasn't overly successfull, but it was just fantastic to look at. No, not the 935, it ain't ugly! And yes, indeed, it is BADASS! They looked sort of Atomic Stinkbug, ok, but they backed that up by going like ATOMIC STINKBUG, and that is what counts Most of these other cars people are coming up with ran about as well as a Dodge Dart with three missing plugs, but not my 935's, they ruled robert (something of a Porsche fan....) Don't get me wrong, Robert:
The 935 is probably my favourite car ever as well (though their time was about to end when I was born), but they are certainly no beauty-queens. It's a bit like the A10-fighterplane: It wouldn't be half as badass if it was beautiful. Sometimes uglyness rules! It's a monster, and monsters don't look nice. I actually don't mind the roll hoops or spikes on the Audi, Courages and Acuras...I really don't like the roll hoop on the FIA Prototype cars...

I dont think the Daytona DPs are ugly cars. Not the best but by no means ugly.

Reminds me of that C4 Corvette that ran SuperGT a few years ago.
