What a privilege to have met Sam, skycafe. I love his work and hope to hear his opening essay for Le Mans next year and many years after.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to take a look sometime.
Just watched a documentary that aired on ABC in 1971 as part of a series called "Once Upon a Wheel." It profiled Posey and Hobbs at a Formula 5000 race in Mid-Ohio. Takes about 28 minutes to watch on YouTube, where it's in four parts. Some cool footage and a hilarious exchange between the two drivers in part two, I believe it was. |
