British broadcasting rules are hilarious. You can say the name as much as you like, but you can never show it's logo. Hence when ITV started showing the BTCC, the onboard name plates were blurred out because they had the Green Flag logo on them at first.

Cheers guys. I was wondering about that smudge as well, if you go on Youtube, I think it isn't blurred out there.

Not stupid rules at all. Unless of course you'd prefer a free for all with unlimited product placements & name checks, adverts scrolling across the bottom of the screen etc etc.
Veering off topic here, with regards to some of the stuff that they cut away from to a static ITV ad or blur out, one of the reasons is because ITV won't want to give air time to someone who is not paying them directly. I've seen it before where they're using a programme made for someone else, if you can't crop it out, blur it out. |

Some of the BTCC drivers do that anyway. They're getting very American with the sponsor namechecks.
