Sigma P1 Engenharia presented it's third major iteration of the car. Sigma P1 G3 is equiped with a completely new 7-liter V8 LS3 engine, prepared by the Motorcar Racing, The car has full electronics by Fueltech, with active traction control and paddle integrated.

There is great aerodynamic news in the body: the entire new floor, changes to the rear wing and a complete reconfiguration of the cooling system.

Now main goal is collecting data. The frist race scheduled on to the next race weekend at Interlagos on August 5-7

Looks like Sigma has finished P4 at Interlagos. Big V8 suits the championship better than the previous engine?

Sigma could win this race, if there wasn't a problem at last stop. I suppose, you know, third iteration of the car has new engine because of P1 category. As I know, it's a most commonly used engine among P1 cars.

That’s it for season 2021 of Endurance Brasil. Marcelo Vianna and Emilio Padron are Overall and P1 champions; Caca Bueno and Ricardo Baptista won in GT3.

While Oswaldo Scheer, Maurizio Billi and Max Wilson won last race of the year at Goiânia.

This was the first season of the championship, when Pirelli was the only tire supplier. It started with strange incidents, and it ended. Especially unlucky was AJR #80, whose rear wheel burst before braking on the starting straight and tore off the engine casing. I would like to believe that the reason was not in the design of the tire.

I wouldn't say that it's 100% Pirelli fault but this manufacturer who participate in "monotyre" classes only is already famous for "shitty tyres" as WRC crews mentioned during Monte Carlo. I remember a piece of Pirelli tyre flying high at some gravel event. So, not that strange at all.

MC Tubarão shared the first photo of their new prototype P1. A year ago they announced the creation of the first prototype in many years with their own hands, and now they say that the prototype is already at the final stage of development and should be ready for the first race on March 26.

A few technical clarifications about the new prototype. The exterior will reproduce the Ford GT40. For the development of the chassis and aerodynamics, MC Tubarão attracted Sigma P1 Engenharia as a partner. With a tubular chassis, it will have a Ford Duratec four-cylinder turbo engine that will transmit power to the rear wheels via a sequential Ricardo gearbox.
