But if all the people who are complainin' about these stupid/childish comments were to stick to the original subject and not nibble on the bait of the childish posters.
Then the childish posters would eventually get bored and just stop. Seems fairly straight forward to me. |

So the people that reply to these comments are just as bad as the people that make them.
So what i am tryin' to say is STOP COMPLAININ' |

So people who reply to the complaining are just as bad as the people complaining (?)
Sort of replying to complain about complaining! Sorry, couldn't resist. Forgive me I think people find it hard not to reply when they blatantly disagree with something daft someone else has written. I find it a shame when this gets in the way of some proper discussion. I'm not even saying that anything can or should be done about it, but I find that it reduces my involvement and enjoyment. It's not something that I lose sleep over, but it's nice to have a little complain about it here in it's own thread and see that (some) others do indeed feel the same. |

Maybe but when theres a number of these people complaining amongst themselves in most threads it gets a tad annoying.
EG Poster A: Michael sux Poster B: Montoya sux Poster C: Michaels a cheat Poster B Montoya can't drive etc, etc |

Im not really so much into " he's a better driver than him " argument , that will always come down to someones preference or who they support . I have my favorites which i guess some of you will have noticed , but in truth i have to admit that other peoples favorites are great drivers as well.
but the argument that i find it very hard not to get involved in , is where someone genuinly beleives that a driver has done an exceptable move , and where i feel it was very unexceptable . I love my racing alot , i normally dont mind who wins as long as it's a blinder of a race ,edge of your seat kinda stuff , but when i feel ive been cheated out of watching a great race , then i feel i need to shout about it . |

Paulzinho, that was one the most intelligent Michael/Montoya debates I've seen around here for a long time. Last edited by Adam43; 9 Apr 2002 at 15:25. |

I'll do my shouting too, and hopefully we won't need to if we don't have to. I also like that "edge of your seat" kinda stuff. The weekend is approaching and I just can't wait. |

Edge of the seat stuff is great as it gets the heart beating nice and fast . Being cheated out of a good race , justs makes you feel like you'd rather go and make a cuppa.
I know which one i prefer . Lets hope we dont get no nasty stuff this weekend , and get a clean race throughout . |

Nasty stuffs? Were there any?
We used to say how F1 was boring...nobody bothers to overtake for places...nobody bothers to fight to defend their place. We used to say how much better perhaps CART and BTCC are. Now we get these stuffs on F1..and we claim it is dirty because a particular character did those moves. We complain about F1 even when it is improving in racing. We complain now that we have what we wanted...close racing and a fight between top guys. Oh right...so the BTCC and CART we thought was better did not have nudging and barging stuffs?? A hard move is now considered dirty, a cheat...or a plain beauty... not dependent on the move itself, but the driver involved... I know what i prefer. Real racing. I don't mind seeing Michael having a few knocks as per Malaysia. I don't mind seeing JPM lose his wing. As long as nothing outright blatantly bad or dangerous things are done, what are we to complain about? Does that make F1 better???? Just watch it...we were not cheated out of a good race in Malaysia...neither in Brazil. Last edited by Gt_R; 10 Apr 2002 at 02:29. |

I won't be saying anything more in this thread. Frankly I'm getting fed up with the same old people whinning about the "whinning" that goes on here. If you feel so disgusted at what you have to read from certain members. Then maybe you should should, as well, look towards the way you put across your opinions, and find a way to modify it before you can expect others to return the favour. It all comes down to respect. You must first show respect to others before you get any in return. |

Official 1. "Did you see what Shu just did to JPM?"
Official 2. "No, sorry i was too busy countin' this bribe money from Ferrari" Hmmm, I think its funny to get advice on whats childish and flame bate from someone with this as their signature. Quote:

haha...of course it can be!
Authorities: "We decide this is legal" Fans of driver which the decision is against: "This is cheat..this is unfair..the authorities are biased...blah blah" There you go...something legal, but cried unfair upon. The thing is that with every new rule, or new decision, there would definitely be somebody who is more or less affected than the others...and so feelings of unjust there would surely be. I would agree with the Duke on certain points. Respect. And to bring that to a further extent, not only should we show respect to other posters...but also to other drivers/teams/authorities whatsoever. If no respect/sensitivity can be shown by the poster, then he does not deserve respect in return. Right? Why not try something...before we criticise certain things...take time to think whether we could do better if in their shoes. Not in an ideal goody-good world of beautiful theories, but in the realistic world... Enjoy the coming races...Fireworks are expected! |

GT_R . you are taking your point too far there , im not complaining about Michael bad driving standards because he done it against JPM , I am complaining about it because he keeps on doing it to many different drivers . There has been a lot of " NASTY STUFF " happen in F1 when it comes to MS , which frankly is a waste of his huge talent ! , so dont think i'm going on about this because it's JPM he's doing it to , I'm saying my piece because im fed up with seeing him spoil a good race . I have no problem with seeing Michael have a few knocks from time to time either , afterall , it should be very competitive in F1 races , but when it come down to pure dodgy driving , or a big chop across to take out your opponent if he doesnt decide to back off and let you win , or moveing twice which he done in Brazil , then i dont call that racing , I call that damm right dangerous and un sportsman like , and i would be interested to see your remarks if one of his manouvers ever causes a serious or fatal accident .
