Terrible driving in F4, total lack of respect for the marshalls by some drivers. I would hope those responsible are on the receiving end of some strong words.

Two good races so far so lets hope race 3 is fun, must admit track limits seem to be ignored by most drivers

Well then, that evens out the Turkington situation doesn't it?

MAJOR CHASE IMPLICATIONS FOR JORDAN.
Looks like Proctor had his own accident and Jordan had nowhere to go. |

Mega unlucky for AJ, if the car had stayed straight he would have been ok, that was a matter of millimetres.

Jake Hill wins for real this time! God I wish that race was another 5 or 10 laps long, pretty much non-stop action in the midfield.
First ever top-10 for the Infiniti.. |

yep good for hill to win a race, plenty of bumping in that one, wonder if the stewards will penalise anyone, but for sure that was a classic bttc race

When I saw AJ in the gravel, I thought 'this might be the end' but after all, points calculated and it turns out it's not that horrifying for him. But to see top 3 in 11 points, well, it's going to be fantastic final rounds! And just a few months ago there were people claiming Cammish is not good enough... I'll be cheering for BMWs regardless but Dan is doing a stellar job this year. But honestly saying, it'd be better for him to win some more races.
Great R3 and congrats for Jake! |

the updated standings
Turks 268 Jordan 258 Cammish 257 Cook 238 Butcher 227 Tingram 194 Sutton 183 Neal 174 Plato 163 looks like a 3 horse race now with Cook and Butcher as the dark horses the irony is Turks pretty much won the title at Knockhill last year after Sutton-Tingram finished 1-2 in race 2 and both were DQ which also put them at back for race 3 |

Certainly nice and close and open. I'm actually thinking this is Dan Cams to steal: he's quietly been improving race by race and seems to be the new Mr Consistent.
Good enjoyable days racing. Sonics overtake in R1 impressed me no end. Sutton and Neal in R1 was clumsy, some drivers (Sutton!!) need to allow for the fact the car on the inside is on the inside. And is a big hard fast moving car: one that's going to hit you if you squeeze to hard. After his run in with JP at Snett you'd think he'd bloody well learn. Irrespective of the rights and wrongs if you're on the outside you stand to lose badly in those situations. Ditto Turks - yes I know and have no issue with Rory being penalised - but Turks turning in was the most stupid move of the season if he doesn't win the championship now. Sad to see Bushy has picked up Sams earlier season bad luck in a racecar. Well pleased for Rory on the win at home. |

I believe it was this contact with Collard on the exit of Clarks that cause the wheel to come off.
Image source... it is my photo. |

Hard event for Turkington, he’s had his title lead slashed massively. I don’t think all of it was the weight. In race 2 when the weight of Jordan’s car and Turks was the same, we saw Turkington just not really at ease with the car and he then got involved in an incident which cost him a good result for the next two races. It does seem that Jordan has perhaps got a handle on the 330 which Turkington perhaps hasn’t, I know this has ebbed and flowed over the year with Jordan taking the early form and then Turks had a good mid-season, now it seems like Jordan has the car under him towards the end of the year. Quite how much the mid season balance of performance adjustments have made to the BMW I guess we can only speculate.
I think Cammish will nick the title at the final event. The momentum is with Honda at the moment and hes been very consistent over the year. |

It would be farcical if Cammish wins and the series would need to take a long hard look at things.

On the back of the complaints and cries about the performance of the BMW, which has been by far and away the standout car, with no legitimate reason to "peg it back". To be beaten by some spectacular driving from elsewhere a la Sutton 2017, fair enough, but for someone who has barely even been noticed by anybody all season to even be in contention is a bit of a joke.
Nothing against him and fair play for improving, being clean and churning out a number of solid, but unspectacular results, but that should not a Championship make... |
