Its odd to hear what some of the drivers do after BTCC. So many drivers seem to disappear because the mainstream press has no interest. Shame really, because some could have been more 'famous' like John Cleland or Tim Harvey if they had the chance.

Not sure wich race Val Musetti took part in. Thats what I wanted to know in the first place! Suppose it must have been early nineties though.

I can't swear to this without looking it up, but I think Musetti's BTCC appearance was in either 1990 or 1991- probably at Donington in a BMW M3, possibly for Techspeed or someone like that. He's probably better known for racing GT's/sportscars- I don't recall him racing much recently, apart from his drives in the Camaro in British GTs a couple of years ago- he did drive fairly regularly inGroup C in the early/mid-80's as I recall

Boullion - ALMS last year I think
Watts - Last seen in oz. Driving a Peugeot.

Jan Brunstedt went back to Sweden after his BTCC forays, not sure if he's still racing the Vectra but he also runs an airline.

Paula Cook unsurprisingly left the BTCC when DC Cook went bust, did a few Elise races (2nd at Spa?), no idea about 2002 plans.

Colin Gallie - pass. Not heard a word since '97.

Armin Hahne has either retired or is still racing something like a Porsche in Germany.

Last I heard he was writing songs for "Take T..." Sorry you mean Colin Gallie!

He was going to enter Indies in 1999. He was on the entry list but never appeared! Like a misterious Gareth Howell in a Ford Mondeo!

Brunstedt certainly raced in the STCC up to 2000- can't remember whether he did last year though- anyone able to confirm that? He also raced historics in the past- usually Chevrons as I recall

Kox & Rydell have both been racing sportscars- they both drove Prodrive's Ferrari 550 Maranello in FIA GTs last year (with Alain Menu). Rydell & Menu drove the car at Sebring a couple of weeks ago, and Kox was in the new Spyker GT- I'd guess they'll be at Le Mans as well, seeing that both teams have entries accepted.

..but not the same Gareth Howell we've seen recently!. The 'other' Howell has netered the BTCC a couple of times without ever actually doing a race- there was a Ford Sapphire a few years ago as well.

The Mondeo was built by Howell's own team (think he ran/runs some kind of Ford tuning outfit) and was tested a couple of times (and got a photo in Autosport I think..), but never raced- it was well off the pace in testing, and I don't think there was much money behind it

He's showed up in SMRC racing at Knockhill on a few occasions over the past couple of years, driving a Sierra Cosworth and a pretty nifty LM3000 in the Saloon and Sportscar series. He still wears the BMW overalls btw....

What has happened to John Cleland? Last time I heard he was getting involved with ASCAR last year, but nothing since early last year.

The racing future for John is a bit cloudy at the moment - he's currently putting all his efforts into helping his son with his rallying career as I understand it....

I found a Nettan Lindgren web site (www.nettan.nu) last night, I think her daughter is now racing, but it is all in Swedish so I could be wrong!

I also checked out the Robb Gavett site mentioned earlier in the thread. It says he also does after dinner speaking! From what I remember he was not the most interesting man, about as interesting a listening to Mansell speak. He could drive though!

Alan Morrison now drives the second Honda Civic in the Touring class. In fact he came second at Brands in the second race.

Will Hoy is working with Arena Motorsport in a mentoring capacity and also comentates on the Touring Cars for ITV.

I believe John Cleland has a V8 Supercar drive at Bathurst later this year.

Jamie Wall tested a AHRA stock car in USA in February with the aim of getting to NASCAR's Busch series. It doesnt look like it's worked.

If you're out there Jamie, tell us what your up to.
