The Dodge Vipers that is what is missing. Imagine the gap they would have filled in some scenarios. The high attrition with GTLM at Daytona. The BMW dominating Long Beach, Porsche dominating CTMP. |

Sadly, the Vipers were really starting to peak and go on a tear when Chrysler/FCA axed the program.

GTLM is my favorite category by far and that is what keeps me interested in this series but things looked a bit thin and spread out at CTMP in particular. It needs at least 10 cars full time for sure in 2016. |

Yeah, Viper...that was the worst
Well no is going to buy new cars now. GTLM or GTD next year will be better because they have more stable rules. BMW M6, Ford GT, maybe Bentley. And GTD will just become GT3, something that should have happened in Grand-AM and ALMS. And this class has some interest as well like Lexus. But Protos going to wait for about 2 years until 2017. Going to look like ALMS P1 on the last days here. Yet another good reason to have split races. |

I don't know, it's when you compare them to the Factories cars like Audi, they just look really old and more simple.

He he, your right.
Hopefully the 2017 reg will put on a good show. Also hope some factory team are around but also allow the private team to fight back. But until then I want to see the Ford v.Chevy battle next year in GTLM. That why I like to see split race. Not sure if Ford will be good out of the gate but still expecting good racing in that class. |
