Castrol Honda were not allowed to ener a PRO car as you have to commit to full season with at least one car/ team to be able to do this - having Patrese in the car certainly won't hurt the publicity though ........ Not the quickest yesterday but looked and sounded good.
Shame about the second Bentley - anyone heard what the issue was - I was standing on the inside or La Source at the end of Q3 and it slowed on the exit but didn't hear what the issue was. Aston and Bentley charging from the back????? Could be a fun race if the weather forecast stays like it is ....... |

A usual little spot to know is the Endurance Info pit, partly because it means you can see down the pit lane, but mainly because it's nice and cool and a useful place to hide out the sun if you are in the paddock

1/2 are pre-booking only. Lot 4 is for people turning up on the day. That’s what I meant when I said you’d be parking far away then be on your feet!

Anyone know where I might find a downloadable PDF version of the startlist with all drivers included etc?
Can't see one on the Blancpain site and copying and pasting the web page is a disaster! Where's Andy Blackmore when you need him |

16:30 local time. So some 30 minutes from now. And there should be a livestream on YouTube.

They are "bringing back" GT2. Albeit it's going to sit between GT3 and GT4 so it's actually GT3.5

A note of caution, given how much we've all moaned about BoP; if GT3.14 is announced, don't even think about making sense of the Balance of Pi regulations. They'll be irrational to everyone, even the SRO!

The bop looks pretty bad (again) looking at the times. Audi up front typically, but they hand out weight to Lexus and Bentley just because they ran towards the front in another race. I don't understand how they come to their conclusions when one team/car is always at or near the front nothing is changed. Two others get a sniff of a win and they're slapped with what amounts to success ballast The beauty of GT3.

I am thinking about Ferrari 812 superfast, Lamborghini Aventador, Aston Martin DB11 or Vanquish S, this is the return of V12s. I like the idea. http://www.dailysportscar.com/2018/0...s-concept.html https://sportscar365.com/sro/sro-rel...or-2019-debut/ |

#911 has been given a 10 place grid penalty for accumulating 4 behaviour warning points.

It's hard not to think that one of the Audis will manage to win today. But with significantly cooler temperatures, it will be interesting to see who it might benefit

WRT #1 thrown out of qualifying, chucked to 19th on the grid, given a three-minute stop and go. Car was 'presented with a technical non-conformity' and the stop go is for the lack of sportsmanship!

That’s big news! Fingers crossed for the marshals involved in the Super Trofeo crash before. That vision of the incident was scary to watch. Hope everyone’s ok. |

It wouldn't be the ACO if a car wasn't excluded for a technical infringement!
Oh wait... |

Irony here being is I was about to ask - Is it just me just me, or is there are lot more exclusions in events now days? We see it in a lot of ACO races, and SRO have had a good run of it, especially with Spa 24. VLN and IMSA have had some issues too. Is there more, or does it feel like more with the improved coverage of the events? I'm glad I'm having chips tonight. There's plenty of saltiness to sprinkle on them. |

Pre-race BoP adjustments as well:
https://sportscar365.com/sro/blancpa...ight-increase/ This is getting to the same level as GTE-PRO |
