Audi pitting, Koby to the lead. Wonder how much longer he'll go?

The factory cars are going a bit longer than I expected in this opening stint.
Jarvis pits, stays onboard. |

Maybe with Nakajima out of the car, Hindhaugh and Goodwin can stop confusing him with Kobayashi.
#6 enters in the lead, loses it to #8 by T3. Edit - Broken MGU confirmed by Ullrich, that bump was terminal for the hybrid system. Audi trying to pull it out and continue without the #7's hybrid. Last edited by J Jay; 16 Oct 2016 at 02:57. |

Such a close battle is terrible for Audi. They always lose time in the pits.

#5 slowly falling behind, already 23 seconds behind the leaders.

Might be trying to double stint the tyres, perhaps. Although, watching on board it appears to be struggling with entry understeer, especially into turn 6

#8 Audi and #6 Toyota are in a class of their own right now. Everyone else seems to be falling behind right now. Not even the #1 Porsche can keep up with the front pair.
Now if Audi were able to find some more durability in the hybrid system and not have so many issues early in the season with pace and durability, this would be a huge championship fight in both drivers' and manufacturers' |

Not looking good for the #2 Porsche right now. They're dead last among the factory cars still on track, and they're over half a lap behind the leaders.

Hardcore Porsche-on-Porsche action as the #88 gets it wrong into T1 and tips the #86 round with it.

That looked an unsafe pit release on first viewing, but if the #30 didn't have to brake then the #8 might get away with it.

Better in and out laps from the #8 sees Di Grassi keep the lead from Conway, despite a 2s slower stop.

#7 guys are out to have a long day. Car's back out on track, but probably not going nearly as fast as they'd like to be going. They'll be like Porsche last year at Bahrain and at Spa this year hobbling around with a crippled hybrid system several seconds a lap off the pace of the front runners.
Though di Grassi is hammering everyone right now. Has picked up a 7 second lead just since getting back on track. |

CLM stopped before T3.
What odds will I get on it catching fire? |
