That's my point Russ-Turner, he won so many races and crashed on his 1st lap she hasn't won as many and was apparently caught out by the traction control

I see that Autosport can't get used to the thought of a lady F1 driver:

"British driver Katherine Legge completed a two-day test for the Minardi team at the Autodromo Vallelunga.
The 25-year-old, who crashed on his F1 debut yesterday, was on track from mid-morning and enjoyed a much more productive day, completing 27 laps with a best time of 1:21.176"

Not a bad lap time from Katherine. A guy with a few more miles under his F1 belt, Stirling Mossad , completed many more laps (50), his quickest being 1:24.650.

Does that show how good she is or just how thoroughly bad he is...?

I did some research on test times at Vallelunga and Massa did a 1:13 in the Ferrari. 8 seconds back at 1:21 is quite good considering A) She's only had 27 llaps under her belt, B) it's a Minardi and C) the Minardi is naturally about 3 or 4 seconds slower than the Ferrari over a lap (looking at fast laps in a race last year).

So yea i say she did a great job.

D) Different layout. Vallelunga was modified from 3.222 km to 4.085 km this september.

Not really,things like ABS and TC are there to help the driver.If you throw your car into an hairpin having braked only 25m prevously from 200mph,ABS and TC won't help you try to break the laws of physics (but you might break something else).

Interesting. I didn't know that. Unfortunately i don't have the link where i saw massa's time but IIRC it was this past october. I could be wrong however.

im pretty sure massa ran on the extended 4km layout rather than the 3 km one, if he had been on the shorter circuit and was only 8 seconds infront of a minardi which had done a whole extra 1000m, he should be ahamed,

i agree, aewsomely impressive by legge, what would be cool if super aguri ran both legge and patrick in an all women team.
