Ian Smith, glad you liked the Legends. We were trying our best and had a scream all weekend. To cap it all off, I rode in the Hyundai WRC car with Juha Kankkunen on Saturday - highly recommended!

How many Legends are in this years series, do you know? I must admit they are always fun to watch and even to marshal for.

I'm not sure at the moment. Legends drivers are notorious for making lkast-minute announcements, getting entry forms in late etc..
I can tell you that British Champ John Higgins will be racing. Other drivers I know will be back on track are Oli Poyser, Gary Coake, Simon Belcher and Mark Treherne. Not sure If I'll be returning to the National Championship (I did the Rockingham series last year). |

Cheers Pete. Adam Scott lives very close to me and I know he runs a legend but only on short ovals I believe? John Steward (ASCA Driver) also lives in my village so I guess you will know him from Rockingham?

For some reason, the Oval and circuit Legends people don't mix much. Not sure why this is, because in my experience Legends teams are some of the most approachable you are likely to come across whether it's on the ovals or circuits.
I know of John Steward from ASCAR and National Hot Rods, yes. Let's hope ASCAR takes off this year and doesn't go the way of Eurocar (which was, IMO, the best thing to happen to British motorsport in a long time). |

Eurocar was brilliant for the first three years. I think their mistake was to go the V8 route as it diluted the whole thing. Barry Lee and the guys always put on a show for the spectators and in many ways I mourn it's demise.
