OK, I'm going to start the debate again: Overtaking before the start line once the lights go out or not? I would say before as in a standing start. Please confirm or otherwise and point out the regs. Ta.

the general understanding of a rolling start is you all hit the loud pedal when the lights go out,

this no overtaking until you reach the line stuff is nonsense, it doesnt apply to a standing start so why should it a rolling

Does anyone have a copy of the entry form for the extra race they could send me, please? Or a link to where I could get one? I've PM'd Sarah for info, but no reply yet.

Cheers!

Don't mind, Jim. Both sides would look neater, so that would be nice, but i'm not too fussed really. Just something to cover the gaping hole that's there now would be great!

Does anyone know how I can get hold of HP Tyre Exchange? Tried their office but no reply Thursday, yesterday or today. I suspect they are at an event but I am a little jumpy as I don't have any tyres! Will they be at Brands next weekend?

Any ideas, anyone?

Tim W. you are provisionally entered for the extra race because you are a reserve for DMN. This guarantees you will get at least one race, possibly more. You will get to practice in both sessions and be ready to take a vacant slot if it arises in the DMN races.

Thanks Rod. Will it be "pay on the day" for the non-DMN race, as I could end up doing anywhere between two practices and one race and two practices and three races? Do I still pay the full DMN entry fee if I'm a reserve who only practices and doesn't get to race?

Also, would the scrutineers mind if I took the car down on saturday for them to have a look over (obviously after the saturday racers have all been done)? It's the first time the car will have raced, so there's always a chance I've overlooked something and it'd be better to find out on saturday rather than sunday morning.

See the PM I have sent you. You will pay an extra £99 IF you do all three races. If you only do the extra race (because the DMN are still full) you will get a proportional refund in the form of a credit.

Going to be a few late nights to get car ready in time for this week end.

Stupid earth quake knocked out our electric all day saturday and I have no manual override on our electric garage doors so could not get in the garage to work on it! Had to go shopping instead!!!

I'll be going down on Saturday to drop the car off and hopefully get it scrutineered then, as everything will be too much of a rush sunday morning (sign-on, scrute with a new car, and new driver's briefing, all in an hour before practice) - i'll spread out and save the space as best I can

I'm there both days thanks to the loan of a camera from Dan. I'll see some of you Saturday morning to hand over logos and the rest on Sunday.

Looking forward to it gents. Although I've just shot a few dozen shots of the grid-girls at the A1GP so I'll be expecting a repeat!
