I wonder if the GR010 continues to be dominant through out the entire calendar year, will toyota bring a new car next year or just upgrade the current machine.

I do get the feeling Toyota weren't fully lit for the last couple of years - probably largely so they didn't stress the cars too much while they ironed out reliability stuff. Now they've developed the chassis and have reliability too - they've stepped up a level or two over the winter I feel.

A pre-Le Mans BoP tweak is inevitable I think. The only question for me is can they bend the regs to give Peugeot, Ferrari and the privateers a boost somehow despite being in the same class as the GR010.

When Toyota joined, they were immediately fighting with Audi on pace, it was reliability that let them down. It wouldn't be outlandish to suggest that led them to "push without risk" in preparation for the other manufacturers joining.

We'll see what happens at Spa, but I would be surprised if the ACO didn't try to subtly peg the GR010s back somehow.

I thought they couldn't read the torque sensor on that corner - not a data discrepancy per se?

The torque sensors have to work to ensure compliance throughout the race.

For obvious reasons (coughcough MSR@DAYTONA coughcough) I can understand the FIA pulling this up now rather than post-race, and then having to amend the result. Absolutely galling for Toyota/#7 though, little chance of working back up to the podium now.
