Did anyone see the Martin Brundle gridwalk? There was Bernie and Gerri Halliwell standing arm in arm.
I was embarassed for both of them. Haliwell clearly had no idea what she was talking about and Bernie, when talking wasn't looking at her face, more a few inches lower. Creep. |

I love Monaco
It's hard to believe this is the slowest circuit, because the perception of speed is marvellous. |

Pushing on and kicking on are becoming as much a staple part of the BBC commentary diet as "for sure" is amongst the drivers.

Idiot TV director decided to cut away from the best battle (Massa, Vettel, Rosberg) to a shot of a Brawn car going around by itself... When we cut back Rosberg had gotten past.

If Alonso is one stopping and the tryes last he has a good chance here.

Of course he'll have an even better chance if the tyres last.

Martin Brundle on Toyota: "It's like they're there to entertain the crowd while the leaders are round the other side of the track". Got to love the Brundleisms.

Mobile chicane BMW Kubica out...
Be good if a safety car period happened - still a long way to go though... |

Amazing top 5 battle at the moment, consistently within a tenth and a hlaf of each other, swapping fast sectors and laps. Brilliant!

Yeah as long as you discount the 14 or so secs between 1st and 2nd.

Button has a greater percentage of points so far than Michael in both 2002 and 2004. The last time a driver picked up a similar percentage of points early on was Michael back in 94, the FIA had to implement some dodgy stuff to take that to the last race
Vettel's 28 points down. The rest even more. The only 2 drivers that still have the championship in their hands are Button and Barrichello - everyone else will need extra circumstances to win even if they won every race |

I guess my prediction of a Ferrari win was more of wishful thinking. I was positive until 1 second after the start lights went out. On a side note...I watched the Indy 500 today, the first time since the IRL took over. It was entertaining, Danica is still hot and there were tons and tons of fans. It seems the drivers are more accessible for interviews and seem friendlier (maybe it's just me).
