A side note remembering this is the second last race for 125cc and Moto2 in the Summer Cup. The last race will be the Germany GP. Of course MotoGP will have one more race in Laguna Seca.

So, I suppose bribe money will raise as usual every year in this period. Incidentally, my Ferrari is getting old.

Well, well, well, the lagrangian eclipse finally has passed and I can do the classifications (ok, it is a bizarre excuse for the delay).

Assen was a good round for Tazz, he did well (apart from the strange "Spies event"), the rest of the field (except this writer) only got right one race (or zero races, by the way).

Mugello is a grand circuit, a joy to watch races on it. The yearly Moto peregrination brought good scores (again, except for you-know-who). This time Schummy and Dani got a good result in every race. marcus was unfortunate (but West?), probably our good friend has forgotten the goal of this game is guessing the winner.

In the tables for the four categories, it seems that currently Dani, jhansen and even Schummy are fighting for the titles and most of medals. In 125 they are well on top. In Moto2, Tazz is fighting as well. In MotoGP is marcus who is right there for the fight. But in Total class, those three have quite a gap (but Tazz is hanging about there). The only no-carbono life form, BOTTY, is doing well as always (but he/it doesn't count for medals).

That ominous alien, Schummy, has won this Sachsenring round. This time the structure was very clear: nobody(*) guessed Faubel, everybody(**) guessed Marquez and nobody, except the formerly mentioned, guessed Pedrosa.

(*) Poor Dani was robbed of points by mean of that strange photo-finish thing in 125cc. It didn't harm him in 125cc class at the end of the day but it did in Total class.

(**) marcus risked everything in this last round and it didn't pay; any way he was playing without anything to lose, just for the aesthetic of it

. He was the only one who didn't guess Marquez.

This is a novelty round. For the first time half of the Cup ends before than the other half. So two classes are already defined (and other one is almost done). It's a bit strange, I think I'm going to avoid this for the next season.

Anyway, final classifications for 125cc and Moto2 are (BOTTY is out of medals by definition).

125cc:

BRONZE: Schummy

GOLD: Schummy
SILVER: jhansen

(jhansen untied favorably because the rule of "last rounds count more". Ironically, Ianonne was the culprit of this Dani's minor demise)

It seems that Total's title is already decided (for Schummy) as Laguna Seca only has one race. But the other medals are to be fought, so let this classification for the next round. MotoGP apperas to be very favorable for Schummy, but Dani still can do it. Next time we will make the usual resume tables for this Cup.

By the way, for Laguna Seca's MotoGP, we will use the traditional option of guessing by PM to someone (to be chosen) or in this thread. One title and many medals are still to be decided.

Botty is somehow quite brilliant in 125 and Moto 2, but is lost in Moto GP. That must make "it" a true racing fan, as "it" cares little for a boring spectacle.
