I don't blame FW because if you look at the car that Michael has if you put just about anyone in there they would win. Even my boy Heidfeld.
I think that it is coincidence that Montoyas contract is up after 2004 and so is M Schumis. Ferrari does have a lot of money and I think they would be able to sway Montoya |

Before Austria: Rubens was going to be a pebble in SchM's shoe, he was going to fight SchM in every race, and he was going to fight for the title. Austria: "Rubens, Move over". Post Austria conference: "I have a two year contract with Ferrari. Michael will help me later" Yes!! I totally agree with Inigo here, and I blame Rubens for this nonsense. He didn't have the balls to switch off the pit radio, and motor on. Quite honestly, I have never heard anything so pathetic in sport, and now this bugger is relying on SchM to help him win races. I ask again, how good is a trophy if, each time you look at it, you know that you didn't deserve it, and you needed somebody else to help you win it. If I had such a trophy, and thank God I don't, I'd throw it into the Ocean. Valve |

Rubens was just trying to pull at all the fans heartstrings for his cause in Austria. But I agree that he was pathetic in the press conference. If Alesi had been in his shoes, he would have told Todt to 'f*** off and let me win' and rightly so. And he probably wouldn't have even attended the podium and press conference!

What would Alesi had done when they presented him a contract to sign as a second driver? If he signed he had to give way for Schumi, if not he was fired. So the scenario was unlikely to take place with Alesi doing just what you have implied

I don't think Alesi would have signed that contract in the first place.
