It will be pretty special if the 2 Moslers they are talking about actually rock up, one an 'official' Mosler effort, and the other a car Kerry Baily may have his eye on in the UK....
They arent a cheap ask though, with spares of the key stuff, you can spend over $350k in the blink of an eye Last edited by GTRMagic; 27 Dec 2003 at 08:01. |

Monaro vs mid-engined NSX orBig turbo supra's and Skylines. They also run a 350z over there as well. |

I think the Ford GT40 can only be called a FORD GT as sum yank owns the right to the name GT40. But who will drive the cars. Ross Palmer reckons there will be two cars on the grid for 04. Driver please??

So they will parity them into competitiveness
The Mustang program should come back... there has been plenty of noise about how quick they are as a Gp2 with a secret tester aboard! |

Well GTR we all know how PROCAR let the Monaro stuff up Nations Cup and the Bathurst 24Hr with there stupid rules, so who is to say they won't do it again with the Ford GT, to make it another Ford v Holden series. MMMMMM.

Yeah, but that was in GT Performance, and a lot to do with the fact that a professional driver was behind the wheel...

Nah, the updated car was tested just before Christmas with a young talent at the wheel, and without fiddling with setup, wasnt that far off the Gp2 Porsche run at the same circuit...

GTR, any clues on who that driver may have been. Perhaps a FF frontrunner from 2003.

This could be a contender for Nations Cup 2005.
MG is plotting a small-scale return to the US market for the first time since the death of the MGB in 1980, with its exciting SV supercar. Although coupé production will be limited to just 250 cars a year, MG Rover is confident it will be able to find buyers for an ‘ultra limited’ run of imported models – despite an expected price of at least $100k (£60k). In Britain, the SV is being sold by a national network of 20 specialist MG Sport & Racing dealers, with prices from £75,000. The SV faces an active competition career ahead of it: MGR hopes to enter the SV into several racing categories. The company’s ambition is to make a full GT challenge at Le Mans in 2005. |

From MG's Website
POWER One of the first questions you'll be asked is what's under the hood? Well how about 4.6 litres of quad cam all alloy V8? The SV has 320 hp as standard, sufficient to propel the SV from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and on to around 165 mph. "It's a pretty special sound to my ears. It’s distinctive V8, unmistakable exhaust note; superb." Anthony Reid Should you require more power then that can be arranged. How does 765 hp sound? The very same engine that powered the MG ZTT-T to 225 mph on the Bonneville Salt Lake is available for the SV. More than that? We'll see what we can do... There ain't no substitute for cubic units and that's why the SV has a large capacity V8 under that carbon fibre bonnet. 4.6 litres means plenty of torque in all gears all the way through the rev range. Massive reserves of power make for the potential to proceed very rapidly. It's safety fast, very fast. |

It seems that Dale Brede is in the final stages of a deal to race a Mosler Chev in Nations Cup in 2004.
Should be a schmick looking car if the proposed liveries are anything to go by.... and a real championship contender too.... |
