Hot stuff! Murray is a deadset guru, just a great shame that he can't be still flying around the world setting up Possum Bourne's scooby doos... Rallyings loss is circuit racing gain I suppose.
How long was Wally with the team? It's been a fair while hasn't it? |

Hey Crash
I have never worked with Murray before but am certainly looking forward to it. He has a huge degree of talent and experience and I beleive he will be the man to take us to the next level. Wally was with us for three years, It`s a shame this split had to happen but as the saying goes, A change is as good as a Holiday. Catch you all at the creek. Steve |

Looks a bit like it. Is Tony Noske still the lessee of the second Tasman franchise?

WPS talking about Besnard
"Now he has the chance to consolidate his lead over the FPR drivers Lowndes and Seton in the championship." Clutching straws can be fatal to you ego when they snap |

I am led to believe the 2nd franchise thing for WPS it not a problem any more... with the team apparently agreeing to terms with one of the three franchise holders to operate Mark Noske out of car #43 from the Pukekohe round.
Not sure how the team will cope with the transition from one to two cars, but presumably the acquisition of Mr Walburn will aid that process. I am curious as to what makes a post in the 10/10ths forum constitute a part of the motorsport 'industry' but did anyone happen to take a squiz at this little baby Here The more vehemently somebody denies something, the more truth there is likely to be at the source of it. We have had Mr Ellery and the WPS PR machine refute the claims of Gudgeon amongst others made in here, which I am sure has made Gudgeon's day at having his words made famous, but as I sit here, I fail to see the point. There is noise around and about regarding this and other issues.... it would be nice if that noise could be shared to let people understand that wallpaper put over plasterboard with holes in it will not work very well.... |

"WPS Racing team owner Craig Gore said today that there was no deal with Cragar." "I’ve heard the speculation and I can categorically confirm that WPS Racing has no deal with Cragar,” said Gore." “It does not. We have negotiated a deal with Ian and nobody else. “We are still building WPS Racing and look forward to some further announcements in the future, but I am keen to reiterate that we have not signed Cragar to our team.” PS not mud raking here Steve just wary about what things don't say more so than what they do say. |

So perhaps the deal is with the engine builder personally rather than the trading entity known as Cragar Performance...

You realise of course that the Tasman thing is a rebrand in name only, and that any alleged equity position is ceremonial until $$ actually changes hands....

Are you saying that no equity has changed hands, GTR? That would go against the largely held theory/belief/understanding by a long shot and stir up a hell of a hornet's nest...!
Hmmmm....! |

Bbbbbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Oh, and the transporter is being pulled by a Kenworth prime mover painted in the colours of Greg Murphy Racing.... Bbbbbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Bbbbbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Back to the topic, it seems WPS is being frustrated in its attempts at securing an additional franchise by owners who still cant nail down a selling price that is reflective of the current circumstance. Mark Porter qualified his Hydraulink VX today, prepped by Marty Brant's excellent crew, under the IMS franchise so Mark could race at Pukekohe in a couple of weeks. He did a good job, and will be hoping for a trouble free run both here and the Konica race at Winton shortly so the yellow beast can make it to UnZud While Phil Scifleet didnt qualify the Bapmobile, and Mr Krause maintains the charade.... |

Hey GTR explain the bussiness logic in a company that on one hand is seeking to settle an outstanding debt incured by another entity as a result of a no show by a car at a race whilst fielding either an under done driver or car or both to prevent the same thing occuring again,if i were AVESCO I would be pretty ticked off with these teams that continue to make them look like some sort of a toothless tiger or commercial dills?

PWR has the advantage of not being on a performance warning from AVESCO, given the franchise was used for part of the year as the Team Brock entity, and did not come in positions 31-35 in the points standings. So they have another year of life potentially, of bringing a 3rd car along, having qualification issues, either speed or operational practice related, for the car not to run. Even if they leased it for the relevant franchise appearance fee income the team would be better off! |
