Was ok, might have hoped for more overtaking though. Unbelievably SEATs first win of the year and well done to Muller! Was a bit disappointed for Rickard Rydell!
Priaulx for race 2 victory? |

Yep, lots of attempted moves here and there. Seat did very well not to trip over each other this time...I guess that's because Tarquini was a bit further away.
In regards to attendance...'low BTCC' turnout isn't bad at all for the WTCC. Usually attendance for the ETCC/WTCC events even with the FIA GT championship was quite 'light' in comparison to the BTCC. |

At the begin the race was a little bit boring but there was a nice round after round fight between Dirk Muller and Andy Priaulx. At the end the battle between the first 5 cars was nice. A shame there were not a few more laps.

Cracking battle between Dirk Muller and Andy Priaulx.
It was fraught and both drivers were on the ragged edge, but after the dust had settled there was hardly a smudge on either car. A Tin-Top masterclass from the BMW pair. |

Enjoyed that, good close and clean racing. Great to see a full field of touring cars on the Brands GP circuit. Race 2's usually better at WTCC meetings too.

Very much so, from the onboard it looks like he was too high going into T1 aswell, he really needed to win this race IMO.

When was the last time that Priaulx had made a mistake?

And the reasonably priced car takes it's first win for the BTCC champion squad!

Congratultions to Alain Menu and RML on their first victory for Chevrolet.
A bad weekend weather-wise, but at least both races were won by honourary Brits. |

The video streaming decided to play up on the last lap tho! Grrrrrrrrrrr!
Well done to Alain though, fantastic win. How long ago was his last win, am i thinking it was BTCC? He never won in DTM did he? |
