Presumably the Bentley V8 that's also used in the Urus? Relatively easy option being a ready made GT3 engine.

Sounds like we'll see the Urus TT or derivative in the next Gallardo as to be expected, surprised the V10 has made it this long. |

There is only one Vanwall logo and it is currently being used on a road car.

I wonder how LMH and LMDH cars will be balanced going forward in IMSA and the WEC. This is given that reportedly (based on times from the Road Atlanta test today) that the LMDH/GTP cars are barely slower than the DPI cars. At Sebring, the LMH cars in the WEC event were a fair bit slower than the DPIs.

A lot will have to do with how the time is made.
I'm taken the info from Marshall Pruett (TWISC) - at the Daytona test, the LMDH cars were also close to DPi pace, but with a noticeable top speed increase (easily 200+mph, compared to ~195mph). Therefore it's reasonable to assume they are quite a bit slower in the infield. It may cause specific issues with Le Mans, but otherwise they're both BoP formula, so a blanket increase to LMH/decrease to LMDH performance (more likely the latter) should be easier to implement. |

Nothing official obviously, but reports were that the Acuras were running easy 1:11s and high 1:10s. Most DPI fastest race laps were 1:10s and a couple of 1:09s.
If true, the GTPs aren't a ton slower than the DPI cars, while at Sebring (only true apples to apple comparison so far) the LMH cars were I believe a couple of seconds slower than the DPIs in qualifying and race pace. So maybe the gap between GTP and LMH isn't as big as I first thought. But the GTPs aren't a ton slower than the DPIs (which are much lighter and narrower). Not to mention that this is before IMSA and ACO BOP gets applied. |

From what I understood, the problem in LMH is the SCG 007 that is not quick enough and then they have to slow down the Toyota in order to have them in the same operating window.

Jim has continually said that Glickenhaus could and would like to run at a higher power but they are limited by the regulations. I don't believe it's them holding the class back, rather the original regs set.

I think that they will need more power than the other. We will see but I think that we will have to play more with the weight and the power than the legislation is stating. ANd I believe that we are already doing so, at least for the weight. |

Jim might appear to clarify this, but I think Tique is right. I'm sure he's been out there saying they could run a good chunk more power but aren't allowed to.

Good luck to them! It would be great to see this, Glickenhaus and Vanwallvandervellkolles up against the big boys.

Is that hideous front/mid engine Fangio thing coming too, or are they just gathering instagram hype?
