Sepang...
1: A huge Grand Curve for full throttle, ending up in a tricky turn, that you could easily slip out on. Especially in monsoon weather! 2: 3 righthanders, possible for wheel-to-wheel fights, ending up in a lefty, which will probably decide the fight in a braking duel. 3: A 180 and a full throttle all the way up to the hairpin, which lacks a bit of speed. Not more! 4: Full throttle 5: Three hairpins, mainly laid there, because from the end of the grandstand, you can overview all three hairpins. as it is right-left-right, there is a possibility of braking duels. |

Uhm... It makes even less sense now than when Tilke designed it?

Anyhow, here's a new challenge. It's for a Grand Prix circuit near Philadelphia. You need plenty of parking, a paddock and grandstands that can support a weekend of F1 and support races, and is at least close to F1standards for runoff and the like.
You can't destroy _any_ buildings or roads _except_ Penn Road, which goes up the middle. That can be paved over. But no paving over buildings. Also, the track can't go near the houses in the northeast or northwest corners. You'll need a Grand Prix circuit of at least 2.5 miles. |

Here's my entry for Lee Janotta's challenge. Direction is clockwise. I can't be sure what the length is exactly, but I think its slightly longer than the 4km minimum distance.

Here's another made up track. It is set in a valley, each line is +10m elevation. The area is approx 1km x 1km. I think this would be an interesting track to drive.

Yes sorry CH. The one above is an extension to one you posted a few pages back right?
It's better like that but you tend to get a bit chicane happy in places. You should try to experiment with combinations of corners which work best. Like, at T1, really turn 1 ought to be turn 3, giving you a longer start straight, and a decent passing spot at turn one. Something that i think mac pointed out to me is that you should always have a straight run into passing spots, because bends in the road before a hairpin for example limit the number of quick lines through the corner, and thus makes it harder to overtake. You don't really ever make use of longer corners either. So, on the one above, you need to think about straightning out in some places, deleting some corners, and adding some longer turns, and some perhaps some "serpent-like" esses somewhere, probably between T4 and T5 |

Hey, what a massive improvement! Maybe have T7 tighter, then T8 nice and fast, the other way round from now. that way you can overtake down there too
(BTW, i replied to the PM you sent) |

Better. Still think you ought to get rid of at least the first chicane though

Na that's an 'Acque Minerale' from Imola - which is cool!
I've entered the below circuit before but I got no comments. Which route would you take 1 , 2 or 3 ? |

Right, you've got an image now, and i'd say take all three, but #2 could be either really. |

Here's my take on my last challenge, which didn't seem to attract much interest. Oh well...
I kept the layout really simple. Kind of reminds me a little of Riverside and Monza. It runs clockwise, it's about 2.8 miles with the infield loop. The VIP parking lot will be paved, and can be used for karting events. Likewise drag races can be held on the pit straight. |

Here's another one... T9 is a very fast sweeper. The green chicane is where I would expect the circuit to be 'sanitized' for "safety".
