Another article on Motorsports listed these potential new teams. None seem to be Chinese.

* Formula Equal (Middle East?)
* LKY SUNZ (?)

Lky Sunz is supposed to be "Southeast Asia". I can find nearly zero information on them. Someone who was part of the prior Panther effort is involved. They have a bizarre video on their minimal website. I can't tell if they are an F1 team, a clothing brand, a hip-hop recording label or all of those at the same time!!

It's a good article and Ben Sulayem makes a lot of sense. But it may be a pipedream to see a fully American team or a fully Chinese team, but you never know. We do definitely need a few more teams though, too many have gone and we need more than 20 on the grid

Does this give Mr Haas an increased amount of time to focus on his F1 team?
Or does the serious haircut he and Mr Stewart are likely set to take on the shuttering make a sale of the F1 operation almost a requirement to balance the books?

They'll get plenty for selling the team and charters and most of the team has been looking for other opportunities all season. It's been the worst kept secret in NASCAR

As expected, Bearman confirmed for 2025. He won the F2 sprint race in Austria, but the rest of his F2 season has been pretty poor. But that Ferrari debut in F1 was of course excellent.

I don't think we should read to much into F2 results Prema (and ART) are only just getting their cars working consistently in the last couple of rounds.
Some fairly average drivers are doing better because their teams sussed the 2024 cars set ups out more quickly.

I've only properly started watching F2 this year, so I guess he was promoted due to previous seasons performances. It is a brutally competitive championship. But it is one bad weekend after another for Bearman it seems.

It's all a bit bizarre, as people speak of the "new F2 car" but it really isn't. It's much the same car as before, just with some new bits. Sure, some stuff to learn, but not that much.

F2 is a very mercenary place with engineering staff swapping teams a lot year to year, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Bearman seems fine, and he has massive budget, which I am sure is assisting.

It's impossible, really, to assess him against his F2 teammate as he's very much an unknown quantity at this level, although those around him say that the F2 car doesn't "suit his style."

It’s a transition year for F2. But we are seeing real talent in the series this year. Of course the series is much more controlled than F1, so it’s a bit harder to find an advantage

There are about 6 or 7 real talents. The rest are journeymen or rent a drivers

From the bits of F2 I have seen, there are some drivers who are generally in the mix a lot of the time. But others who podium one week and look brilliant, but they then finish in bottom 5 the next week. It's hard to see who is the next mega star, but clearly a lot of attention is on Bearman and Anotonelli who both blow hot and cold.

I found this from Planet.F1, who say that ''According to several prominent F1 publications, Toyota could be eyeing a way back into F1 through a partnership with the Haas team.'' However, I haven't read anything from any prominent F1 publications, so far.
